Erick's awesome Apu Ecolodge
Reviewed By GoogleUser31Hi all, we want to make sure, if you plan to cross Caraz on your way in Peru, that you need to stop urgently for a visit in Erick's Apu Ecolodge. It's not only a perfect location, a wonderful yard (with tousands of tasty berries and fruits and vegetables you can't even imagine) or a good place to meet and greet new people, its just family. Erick is an openhearted, interested and welcoming mind with a lot of generous ideas and always offer his help. Specially in our case, when we got stuck in Caraz, during the first Covid-19 lockdown he talked to the embassy for us and helped to organise our transfer to Lima where we had to catch one of the returning flights. On top of this we could leave our beloved camper on his site and he's always making sure that it's save at his site. There's nothing you can't ask for in Apu Ecolodge. Please don't miss the chance of get to know the amazing Apu. Watching the pictures or videos of our time there makes us still feel at home.

IntiRumi Inn provides a splendid alternative at the “other end” of the Callejon de Huaylas and much closer to the most popular adventures in Huascaran National Park. It is a peaceful yet sustainable retreat with solar heated water, adobe insulated (not to hot or cool) rooms with a spectacular view of the Huandoy Quebrada (ravine) and our edible landscaped gardens. The restaurant has a well deserved and excellent reputation for the fresh bouquet of flavors and aromas in our garden to table restaurant, which serves a host of locally grown fruits, free range eggs, sourdough pancakes and artesanal sausages for the breakfast included with your stay. We also have a full service bar. Along with a variety of beautiful rooms, one can enjoy the convenient access to the Quebradas (Ravines) del Laguna Paron and Santa Cruz and a 360 degree feast of vistas right from the hotel. IntiRumi is an all-in-one adventure with the best of climbing, trekking and biking in the surrounding area. * In this difficult time and with extra precautions needed to keep everyone safe and healthy, we are happy to send you all the precautions we are taking for you and our staff. Though we are taking on extra costs and limiting the numbers, our per night prices remain fixed in low-season rates with a minimum two-night stay. We also are not accepting children under 13 years of age at this time.

She has so much room for the kids to run around and play (and we have younger kids ages 3-8). The dinners were on point and so delicious. Great prices and she gives you suggestions of site seeing in the area.

Estamos ubicados en plena Cordillera Blanaca, a pocos minutos de la cálida y pequeña ciudad de Caraz ubicada en el Callejón de Huaylas, Departamento de Ancash, Perú. Ofrecemos 3 hermosos tipis equipados con cómodos colchones y ropa de cama. También contamos con varios lugares de camping. El lugar dispone de hermosos jardines, un café-restaurant, cocina equipada para uso de nuestros huéspedes, buena señal de WIFI, amplios y modernos baños y duchas de agua caliente. Nos encontramos en plena naturaleza y muy cerca de los nevados y rutas de trekking más importantes de la zona como son el trekking de Santa Cruz, la laguna de Parón, y la Laguna 69.

Sparkling clean, beautiful kitchen, great places to put our tents in and the owners were so kind and friendly! We loved it. I recommend it to everyone who’s on their way to Paron (it is on the road) or who just want to camp in a fantastic place. Thank you guys! We are super grateful! Hostal Santa Rosa cuenta con 09 habitaciones entre simples, dobles y matrimoniales los cuales cuenta con excelente equipamiento. Ubicado a 4 cuadras y 1/2 de la plaza de armas y a 1 cuadra 1/2 de la estacion de Movil Tours.

Reviewed By djkerleyWe stayed for one night while looking for somewhere clean and quiet after staying in too many noisy hostels. The place is newly refurbished and spotless. It was quiet and fresh when compared to the outside temperature. About a 5 minute walk to the Center of town. The owner even helped organise a taxi for my wife and I to Laguna Paron and to have him come back some days later to collect us after camping. On the pricey side by local standards, but you get what you pay for, and this place was worth every penny!

Reviewed By Pierre WGenerally better value than Huaraz for a decent size room with private bathroom, rather quiet, good WiFi, comfortable bed, reliable hot water. Friendly place. They serve a 6 soles cena to guests although the restaurant looks closed in the evening. Caraz is much closer than Huaraz to Laguna Paron, Cañon del Pato and also closer to Llanganuco lakes and Laguna 69.

Patrick´s Adventures is located in Caraz downtown, featuring a terrace. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Our rooms come with a balcony. Also we provide you with a equipped kitchen. A bicycle rental service is available, while cycling, rock climbing and hikin g can be enjoyed nearby. We are near the bus stop to the the different touristic places.

Reviewed By AmandaDelia123I had to stay in Caraz for some work. I originally stayed for one week. I had to return for another month and decided to continue staying at Patrick's Adventures. Its clean and warm environment, It is also calm and close to the market which is nice, especially for buying fresh fruit and bread on Sundays. Its also a really quick walk to the center. They have a kitchen, a room on the second floor where I liked to work, and a beautiful terrace on the fourth floor. I'm pretty sure they also rent out bikes and can set up tours to lake Paron (although I've never rented a bike from them). I'm glad to have been able to stay here. Highly recommend.

Reviewed By Supergran44My son was in contact with owners when we were nearing Caraz. The son of the owners was waiting at the bus station for us when we arrived and drove us to the property. It was extremely clean and the room had private shower. Elsa helped in offering advice on how to get to paces and the best mode of transport. She also told us what to pay for different forms of transport and where to find them. I would certainly recommend it to anyone on a budget who wanted somewhere clean and friendly to stay.

Reviewed By aliciad100Como instalaciones no estuvo mal pero como servicio , pésimo , el administrador nos prometió muchas actividades y no nos cumplió , además no nos informó sobre los lugares a donde podíamos ir a visitar, cuando lo buscamos para coordinar lo que había prometido , no contestó y nos falló. No lo recomiendo
