Reviewed By hawkeyed9szaThe guest house offers abut 5 rooms with complete bathrooms. TV in each room, free wi-fi. Front lobby area has tv, light snacks, coffee/espresso, seating areas. The room we were in had a queen size bed, armoire, desk and chair. Exterior door to semi private patio area. Free parking, locked gate entrance, fenced in patio area with partial sunshade. Family run and very helpful and accommodating. They welcome any comments to improve. Walking distance to park, coffee bars, small shops. On a quiet side street. Reasonable pricing.

Agriturismo Tenuta Monte La Guardia is located in Castel Giuliano, a hamlet of the municipality of Bracciano (Rome). It is reachable from a single long, kilometer-long road, with divergent variations of slope, which separates it from the Castel Giuliano village square. Our agritourism is an isolated oasis, is outside the urban center, in open countryside, surrounded by woods and seasonal vegetation. Just because of its location it is suitable for nature lovers, walking (within walking distance there are 4 waterfalls within our property) and animals. Many of our animals are in the free state and represent an attraction for most of our guests. Therefore, if you think that the dirt road, distance from urban centers, open countryside or free animals can make you uncomfortable, we invite you to contact us directly: we will be happy to give you all the detailed directions! The farmhouse has 2 rooms and 15 apartments, plus the SPA suite. We are looking forward to meeting you!
Italian hospitality at its best
Reviewed By rchughesThis place may have a number of imperfections, but I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit. It’s situated in the middle of a beautiful piece of Roman countryside with lots of good walking around. The entrance road isn’t in great condition, but we managed to drive it several times in a standard car with no real issues. It is an agriturismo resort with lots of animals roaming free - you definitely feel closer to nature. The rustic style room we had was clean and comfortable with a great view. The SPA room is just that (ie a large room with a jacuzzi bath, wardrobe sauna and good shower), so don’t expect a Champneys style resort. It’s a nice, peaceful and private room however with herbal teas etc and space to relax. If arranged in advance, you can get a good massage at reasonable price too. That all said, the 2 most compelling reasons to go are: 1) the evening meals (made with local produce and recipes) that were just incredible, and 2) the warm hospitality of hosts Piera and Gioacchino. Despite our being non-natives and not speaking the language they made us feel completely welcome and patiently took the time to arrange what we needed and explain what we did not understand. I’d recommend without hesitation.

Reviewed By rosfam2018We stayed in the hotel as part of a student group, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms, all the amenities. Good breakfast buffet and supper. The hotel also provided bagged breakfasts for our early departure one morning.

It was handy for shopping to self-cater on the edge of this marvellous medieval town, well-placed to visit many attractions with a car or take the train into Rome. There is also a superb and staggeringly-inexpensive restaurant a few hundred metres away - Ai due leoni. Mrs Saviano speaks perfect English and was most kind from start to finish. The garden was tranquil, large and attractive. The kitchen and furniture were very good. Wifi was fine. We have not hesitated to book to return.

Reviewed By Viathou PWe stayed in this charming Villa for 4 nights. The room was comfortable, breakfast outside very nice and the suppers (twice) very good. We had delicious Salmon and Dorade, beautifully prepared. The chocolate/nut tart was memorable. We got great advice, mostly from Barbara, one of the charming hostesses.

An oasis
Reviewed By IambicWe stayed at Le Suite essentially by accident--but it was a very happy accident. Like other reviewers, we wish we had been savvy enough to arrange for a longer stay. After weeks of urban accommodations, Le Suite was a wonderful, peaceful green oasis. The rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable. There is outside seating, a nice deck. The owners are friendly and helpful, arranging for a meal at a wonderful restaurant in town. There is also a pair of sweet little dogs that makes the place all the more homey. The breakfast is continental, laid out in your room. Although the food is packaged, it's ample and tasty. The place is an easy 45 minute drive to the airport. The only downside was the wifi, which was inconsistent (on/off/on/off).

Beautiful
Reviewed By Tashk53My friend and I stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time. The grounds are beautiful filled with olive trees, a vineyard with the background noise of some farm animals. From here we could easily walk to the train station to get a 5 min train to Bracciano to explore the lake and town which are both goregous. Our chateau was perfect and well equipped allowing us to cook our own meal one night and enjoy sitting outside and taking in the beautiful tranquil view from our patio. Our hosts were lovely and helpful. I would fully reccomend staying here for a peaceful trip in the beautiful italian countryside.

A place of peace
Reviewed By raffaella231290I've been at Agrihouse in September 2019 for four days to take part of a four-day yoga kundalini retreat. The place is absolutely amazing, just hills and grass and trees around. The silence is interrupted just by the sound of the wind passing throught the leaves. Many animals (dogs, cats, cows and many more..) as pleasant company. A nice swimming pool with a view. Breakfast is simple but good. Rooms with no tv but in my opinion not needed in a place like this! The family who run the place is so welcoming and warm, they're so friendly and helpful! Bracciano is 10 mins by car and there is a bus 5/6 times a day running beetwen Bracciano and the Agrihouse.. the place is surrounded by nature but well connected. Recommended!
