The staff hotel is very friendly, especially the lady at the reception. It is secluded from the noisy city. The rooms were very clean and the food was very tasty (though pricey). The pool is large and fun. I would recommend this place for visitors especially short stays.

The booking was seamless, the bar is well stocked and the food is sumptuous. I stayed for 2 days. The rooms are cozy with proper beddings and great room service. The nights were quiet which made me sleep well. I am going back.

67 Athi Hotel is a budget hotel located in Athi River. We have a roof top bar and restaurant with great views of Athi river, featuring Swahili cuisine.
This hotel is within athi river suburbs, when you are from Mombasa road as you enter athi river through devki industry road, the hotel you turn at the junction of athi river open air groceries Market. The place is good for a hideout, for anyone who wants a quiet place within the residential area away from the normal noise

They failed to mention, due to the rains, they were inaccessible. We got stuck, muddy but we couldn't turn back because we had paid a mandatory down payment. Only to arrive and find the place crowded, and food overpriced. A portion for 5 people could only be eaten by 2 if not 1 person and charge Ksh 8,000. We were very disappointed, never going back and definitely not referring ?

In just 30 min from the airport, or 36 km from Nairobi, escape the city hustle and bustle... A beautiful, unspoilt, peaceful piece of wild Africa is just down the road. Swara Acacia Lodge nestles among old acacia trees with exclusive access to 25,000 acres of wild life conservancy. Unknown to many, the ranch hosts a resident population of over 3000 game animals, over 320 species of birds and 8 dams waiting to be explored! Both Mt. Kenya, 100 miles to the north and Kilimanjaro to the south are visible from the ranch. The rustic bandas are comfortable and offering a true bush experience. The dams are stocked and visitors can try their luck at fishing, or settle with a toast to the magnificent scenery with a sundowner. Besides game viewing (including evening drives) there are plenty of things to do... take a bike ride, go on a walk, swim, do yoga, play in the garden... or put your feet up and relax with a glass of wine, good book or your online news (free internet is available on site).
I was excited to finally visit this place so when I finally made a reservation for lunch I was happy- it was short-lived though once I reached. The disappointment! The service! The Service! The Service! The staff wasn't warm, friendly or hospitable. I literally had to keep juggling my own drinks to different tables because I was with a toddler who wanted to swim and play and noone was there to assist (or I was being ignored). Finally when I got assistance it came with almost a scolding of how I have put a jug on an unstable table and it can break. I was busy requesting for my water not to be taken away and that's the response I got.( How would a guest know about the table especially if they've been ignored all through?) Anyways I read the mood soon in enough and when I wanted to leave I had to wait 30min for my bill. Finally I was told by the waiter to go get it in the reception because he doesn't have it? I had planned to spend a night or two with my son but changed my mind after the experience. Giving it 2 stars- one for the ambience because we got to spot wildebeests just chilling within their compound and two because Godfrey the head came to apologize to me when I was leaving after I explained my experience to the reception which I thought was really good of him. P.s if you are planning to swim with your lil ones note there's no designated baby pool area in what looks like a temporary pool. So you will have to enter the pool with them as it's deep for the one's who can't yet swim. It was also full of dead bugs in the water and there was no towels offered (first I've ever experienced anywhere) so carry your own towel.

Went there for lunch with my nephew. The staff were polite, professionals and took time to recommend what to eat. The food was generous and met expectations. The beef, mutton, chicken is sourced from the ranch. On the drive to the resort, saw zebras, gazelless, ostriches, wildebeests. I enjoyed myself

This is best hotel in Athiriver to experience a nice wild feeling, birds singing and cool fresh breeze. Enjoy the best meals on full board and a night of your dream. Convenient with spacious parking and a giant swimming pool. I cannot forget the smiles and best service from the attendants. A place always to visit, relax and enjoy life.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Don't bother ordering food here. Took over 2 hours to serve us due to many power cuts. Best to eat elsewhere, then use this place simply to sleep. Bar full of drunk men so was rather unpleasant there. Book in, sleep, pay n leave. Excellent position for transit to Mombasa train
