Hotel Marathia is a large installation in a beautiful garden and offers as well spa facilities from natural springs (normal temperature 19 degrees). Breakfast: Homemade delights ? and fulfilling. Totally recommend

Clean, quiet hotel located at center’s 500 m pedestrian street
Reviewed By Gene R JMy wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving by rental car before 3 PM and parked in front. The receptionist, speaking hotel English, filled out a passport ID form and presented our key card. She guided my car into their auto elevator that accessed their lower free parking where I was happy to be driving a small Micra. We took the elevator up to the 3rd floor to #308 finding it functional but not spacious. The wood floored room had a renovated small bathroom with a nice stall shower and quick hot water. Then a closet with a refrigerator, desk with chair, firm queen, nice chair and TV(excellent reception of mostly Greek and music channels(BBC, EPT 2/3 shows/Open Beyond shows and m.TV movies in English). Insulated sliding doors(shuttered) opened to a balcony with a table and chairs that overlooked Kilkis Park with its mounted statue of King Pyrrhus. The secure room WIFI was excellent, enough outlets and the room had a hand controlled AC/heat unit. We did not use the 5 E/person breakfast buffet. This is a clean, quiet 55 room hotel conveniently located at the head of the city center’s 500 m pedestrian street and a supermarket 3 doors down.

The hotel is new and opend less then a year ago, it is totaly isolated in a beautiful landscape just 5 minutes drive from Pramanta which is a perfect location for traveling Tezoumerka region. The receptionist was a wonderful guy named Cheristos that did everything he could to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely be back one day... because of the very nice and helpfull staff, because of the stunning landscape, because of the modern room and dream shower, because of the very tasty breakfast Thank you ! Great place and people
Reviewed By Maria PMe and my wife visited Elati and stayed at Kokkinos Vrachos for 5 days during Christmas time. The hotel is at wonderful location with view at high snow mountains. Situated at the centre of Elati easy to find and plenty of parking places. The room was big enough with tasteful traditional decoration and a fireplace inside for cosy atmosphere. Breakfast was rich and varied everyday like homemade applepies ricepuddings omelets homemade marmelades local honey and excellent coffee. But the most outstanding at this place were the people. Everybody was friendly welcomed and ready to help you inform you and make you feel like home. Everybody always with a smile including grandpa and ready to make your stay unforgettable. Special thanks to Giannis who made our travelling plans. He provided us with handmade maps of places around and gave us valuable information of the area. I regret we did not follow him to a hiking tour he offered to accompany us. Anyway great place great hotel great people. Thanks for everything. ps a visit to xenofon place to eat sth is a must. Great food and drink at decent prices.

Reviewed By Rebecka HDon't stay here. We were forced to stay here when our flight got cancelled. We went with Airtours so they booked us here over the night. When we arrived it was a buffé with meatsauce and spaggethi and also some dry chicken. I did not enjoy it. The room was not so nice, it just didn't feel fresh, especially not the bed. On the sheet there was a spot, don´t want to know what it was... It felt like they had not cleaned in a long time. The other day, a woman spoke to the receptionists about that there was something disgusting in her bathroom, in the toilet. From what I heard it was something that was alive. it creeped me out actually but the staff didn't seem to care. The woman told them to check for themselves in her bathroom. The receptionist was so rude towards me when I asked to buy a bottle of water. She said it cost 1 euro and I told her that I had to buy it with card since I was out of cash. She thought it was ridiculous that I should pay with card when it only cost 1 euro, I told her that I didn't plan for staying another night and had spent the cash, it was not my fault that the plane was cancelled. The staff knew that we were booked only because there was no other hotel. In the morning we had a look att the pools that looked great from a distance, but when you got clooser I was shocked. I would not even dare to dip my toe in that water, it was so filthy. Looked like they had not cleaned it in the entire summer.... I would never, ever, ever spend money to stay here.

SHORT STAY IN ARTA REGION
Reviewed By AsterixThessalonikiWe stayed 2 hights in this hotel, while returning from our holidays back to Thessaloniki. The hotel is about 5km outside Arta. It has a great pool and elegant rest areas where you can have your breakfast, drink, meal or dessert. Due to Coronavirus regulations all over Greece, the stuff and visitors had to follow certain procedures for their safety. For example musk cerrying was obligatory inside the hotel, breakfast is served by waiter (but there is a great variation of dishes) etc. The room is good enough and the price was very attractive. I have the impression (as we looked at some hotels during our trips in the city) that it is the best hotel in Arta.
