Not allowed to see the room prior booking due to Covid -19
Reviewed By Irina GWe asked Reception to see the room prior booking, but were denied with the reason of Covid-19 restrictions. We were wearing masks, as required everywhere at pandemic time, and to be honest, the Reception’s refuse did not make any sense. There are more people in the supermarkets and airplanes nowadays than in the hotels, and such restrictions as this hotel has, does not look reasonable. However, we walked around the outside of the premises and realised that hotel is quite far above the sea side, but on the top of the hill, and it is a long distance to walk to the beach too. We hardly seen 2-3 people around hotel premises and decided against stay there. Apart from above we had concern about staff attitude: they did not look friendly to us at all, but rather seems like do not want to be bothered. You may say, it might be due to Covid-19 fear? Well, would it not be better to close the premises at all then to exercise ignorance towards visitors?

Reviewed By maryroseMaltaArrived at the hotel late afternnon and when we arrived they told us that someone in the morning with the same name already took the rooms.Unbelievable although then the young lady who was very nice with us arranged everything and gave us another 2 rooms.How can something like this happen.The rooms were with air condition and small kitchenette.There was a powerecut due to a massive storm in Afitos but they are not prepared not even with emergency light or candles.In the middle of the night after the storm was over they gave us tealight candles.The hotel has a nice pool wth a terrace and the staff are very friendly and helpful.It is a 5 minutes away from the center and parking is nearby.

Good budget hotel, friendly staff and pretty near to Afitos centre
Reviewed By emilyball27When we arrived pretty late at night, the hosts lit up the path to the reception with tea light candles, which was a lovely touch! Checking in was relatively fast and seamless, and the staff were welcoming. The rooms were somewhat basic, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with a hob and wardrobe with hangers. However, we had some issues with the room following an extreme rain storm, with a small leak in the bathroom. This would be expected due to the severity of the weather, which took even locals by surprise. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk from the centre of Afitos, which was handy.

Reviewed By 808fabiojWe stayed at the hotel for 4 days. It was freshly renovated, clean and quiet but still very close to the center (2 min by foot) and the beach. The owners were very friendly. Also regarding the price we were very satisfied with our stay there.

The warm and kind welcome from the staff on our arrival was experienced throughout our stay from all the staff. The accommodation was brilliant, the terrace was cosy, the grounds very pretty, the pool area full of an array of seating and sun beds has been very well considered to meet the needs of their guests. The breakfast was delicious with extensive options. We did visit the private beach attached to Petrino which is beautiful and tranquil. We would highly recommend Petrino Suites.
