Delightful short break

Had a five night stay. Hotel is very clean, well decorated and gives feeling of plenty of space. Private car park to the rear. Best assets of the hotel are the wonderful staff , So attentive, polite, welcoming , informative and efficient. Nothing seemed like any problem or trouble for them. Well done. The breakfasts were fabulous both in quality and variety and the evening meal we had was also first rate. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return to the wonderful area of Scotland another time soon.

Dated accommodation, smell of mould but the pool is good.

Pretty average accommodation with the cottage needing a serious upgrade. Smell of mould in the cottage and I assume patches were just painted over. Sparse furnishings but the kitchen had most things we needed. Pool was good and friendly staff.

Lovely accommodation and location

Reviewed By Alias07

I stayed at the Station House for the first time last week, and hopefully it won't be the last! What a place. I was a bit worried before we stayed because of how cheap the room was, but I now realise it's just amazing value. Myself and a friend each stayed in one of the 'cozy doubles', which were roomy enough and just quirky with the sloping ceiling where the bed was. There's a breakfast room in the Station House where you can go and make yourself tea and coffee as there isn't a kettle in the individual rooms, and I thought this was a great idea. Breakfast each morning was over in the Townhouse across the road, and we agreed it's one of the best cooked breakfasts we've had in a long time. We also had an evening meal one night in the restaurant in the Townhouse, and the homemade sweet and sour chicken was gorgeous. The staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough to help you - it was lovely how everyone we met was so cheerful and helpful. Although the hotel didn't have its own parking, there's a big free carpark just around the back, and it's just a minute or so to walk from there to the entrance of the Station House. Aberfeldy is also a great location for exploring the local area, definitely have a trip to Pitlochry and a walk along the river. It was gorgeous with the autumn colours. I can highly recommend this place, I loved it!

Fantastic Food and Drinks

We had the occasion to have dinner at the Ailean Chraggan on a recent hiking trip through Perthshire. The service is top-drawer and must call out Paul as an excellent barman and manager. His personal attention to detail and service made our meals there a superior experience! The food was excellent and the dining room very pleasant. Beautiful scenery, great location within a mile of Aberfeldy. Love that they are dog-friendly. Loved it so much we came back again while staying in nearby Fortingall. Next time we hope to be able to stay as well as eat!

Basic overrated accommodation

Reviewed By gazgazuk

Agoda Aberfeldy I paid £55 for a tiny single room with soft single bed, creaky desk chair, wee open wardrobe, no drawers, no bedside table, no bedside shelf, just a wee window ledge with kettle and coffee. The shower/toilet is small and new. All clean and very basic. Noises carry through thin room walls. Heater in room. No breakfasts served and no one on duty overnight. Check-in not before 3.00pm as no one there.

Spent two nights at this stunning venue. Errichel is in such a tranquil and spectacular setting. The restaurant has nearly 360 degree views of the beautiful countryside and also overlooks a pond with much wild life. Delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner with excellent, friendly service. Food was very fresh, beautifully presented and tasty. The deli has a huge range of tempting produce. Can't wait to visit again.

Perfection in every way

Reviewed By Richard O

We stayed two nights. Unfortunately this wasn’t sufficient. I’m not sure two years would have been sufficiently long enough to continue to enjoy the wonderful hospitality offered by Johnny and Letterellan. This is a unique place and every desire is catered for. From the fabulous breakfast with the best ingredients, to the drinks around the real log fire, not to mention the complimentary drinks in the in-room (silent) fridge in the bedroom. The house is beautifully presented to say the least, and very clean. The beds are very comfortable, the only problem is having to get up in a morning, but the breakfast makes this less arduous. Dietary requirements are very we’ll catered for. The views of the loch are very special. For this is a truly magical and special place to stay and enjoy a relaxing few days.

If you're looking for somewhere peaceful this is a great place to stay. The man who checked us in was lovely and helpful. I recommend this place for a short stay of one or two nights.
