Erstaunlich guter Standard
Reviewed By rapha_y_niciDas Hostel bietet einen erstaunlich guten Standard und wird von freundlichem englischsprechendem Personal betrieben. Die Gemeinschaftszonen sind einladend und eine Bar ist vorhanden, der 6er Dorm war angenehm warm und die Sanitäranlagen einigermassen sauber, auch wenn leider nur chinesische Toiletten (zumindest die Gemeinschafts-WCs) vorhanden. Die Betten waren angenehm hart, nicht zu extrem. Nächstes Mal würden wir für den kleinen Aufpreis ein Doppelzimmer buchen, diese sahen echt gut aus. Wenn möglich vorbuchen, scheint immer gut gebucht zu sein. Würden wieder kommen.

KKH Breeze Hostel is ideally located in the central area of Kashi, a 5-minute walk from the Previous Russian Consulate in 1890. 10Mins from hostel to the old town center by walk. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the entire property including rooms and garden. The naturally cooled dormitories in Summer and heater ground system in winter, come with bunk beds, private locker and lamp. Bathrooms and shower facilities are included in each Dorm. Attached a lovely garden, guests can chatting , barbecue and reading at there. KKH Breeze has a 24-hour front desk providing luggage storage service.
Quiet hostel
Reviewed By rhomomitThe hostel is located in a old Chinese building, located 10 mins walking from old town. It's very quiet and offers a nice garden. I stayed two days in a private room. The mattress was a bit thin. In general the number of bathrooms are a bit low. But generally I enjoyed staying there.

基本設施齊備
Reviewed By meizaic酒店旁邊有一間小商店，就算夜晚肚餓，都可以來這裏買個杯麵做宵夜。 大堂佈置時尚，地方尚算乾淨。 大堂內有免費氧氣筒供應，如果因為高山反應而感到不適，可以在此嗦一嗦。 房間的佈置亦十分簡單，沒有多餘的裝飾，地方乾淨企理，但有點凍。 廁所衛生整潔，但等極都冇熱水，粗眉仔只洗面就算，反正這裏海拔高，洗頭沖涼反而會影響健康。 房間提供兩樽礦泉水，亦有免費茶包和即沖咖啡。 酒店沒有暖氣，但如果不夠暖的話可加蓋大棉胎。 上網比較麻煩，要開著電視才可以用Wi-Fi，速度也不高，好過冇。 這間酒店不算豪華，但基本設施齊備，可以接受啦！

Could Be So Much Better
Reviewed By hkwoodyCamel does some things well - the bunks are a good size with plenty of headroom, and individual power points and lights, the interior design has character, the location is OK. The staff are friendly. But more things are bad - we booked a double room but they'd overbooked that so we had a 4 bed dorm to ourselves (once they'd kicked somebody else out of it). The wifi and internet are unreliable and slow (this may not be their problem as internet is slow everywhere in Xinjiang). When there is water, which there wasn't all the time, the pressure is low - sometimes just a dribble. There is no aircon so our room was hot, but the street is noisy, so you can either be cooler but can't sleep because of the noise or quieter but can't sleep because of the heat. But more than anything else the whole place is filthy, not only the layers of dust that build up easily in a place like Kashgar - although they covered every surface, but huge clumps of dried on hair on the bathroom floor, and basin and mirror that hadn't been cleaned in weeks. With basic maintenance and cleaning this could be a nice place, but it's not at the moment.

Reviewed By iriishin中国は１００回以上は行っているが初新疆ウイグル自治区でウルムチ空港着が夜中１２時前だったので一泊目をシングル予約して利用しました。ドミトリー料金の倍くらいでしたが一部屋を使ったのは感じでした。割りと便利なポジションで一日空けてドミトリーも利用しました。中国人ばかりでなく白人系の方も泊まっていました。

It's fine here
Reviewed By Stephanie FThe White Birch was exactly as expected. Not up to the standard of other hostels in China but not bad in reality. Yes it was a little dirty and dingy. The staff were friendly enough for me and the wifi worked okay. It is in a good location for passing through Urumqi, with great street food and a huge park in the same street. Take your own towel and toiletries, as well as some shower shoes and you'll be fine.

Serviceable, if you don't need noise insulation
Reviewed By Andrew WThis place will gitrdun. It's fairly well located, near People's Park and the gong yuan bar street. It features such amenities as a bed, a toilet/shower, a TV, and curtains, as well as the sweet music of lovemaking right next door. The internet was fine. Some might take issue with the curtness of the service or the child-size toilet roll, but these are the kinds of things you get used to after a few days in Urumqi. Be warned that no one speaks English here. Same-day laundry service is impossible to find for blocks in any direction. Nonetheless, have a go at the street food out the door and to the right. There's also at least one internet cafe in either direction. Inside lanxiuyuan park nearby, there's an Agape coffee shop that has more-than-weekly English meetups. Godspeed, comrade.

A basic guest house for backpackers
Reviewed By Gemini285We stayed here 2 nights in our 2016 Silk Road trip. This is really a basic GH for backpack travellers with accommodation ranging from private to dorm rooms. It is a nice place with a big playground where traveller can spend their time relaxing and chatting out. However, the shared toilet was so dirty with terrible smell all the time we stayed there. The manager was not very hospitable, he could not speak English and supply us the information we need in Turpan.
