Fantastic haven
Reviewed By Siri HSuper clean, free coffee/tea, good configuration of rooms and space. Employees are very attentive, kind &giving of time & knowledge. We felt very comfortable- 3 females ages 9, 26, 50. Location has everything near. Why spend more? The cold water and fridge was a bonus especially after days of heat and no ither place like this.

Reviewed By TatyEkbБрали 2 ночи перед Мабулом и 1 ночь после , 3 номера на 4 человек, номера конечно маленькие, но есть все необходимое для комфортного размещения, собственный туалет и душ! хороший напор горячей воды! удобная кровать! розетки рядом с кроватью, в номере есть чайник, 2 бутылки воды, кружки, чай и кофе! единственный минус это то что кондиционер дует прямо на кровать! расположение тоже удобное, в тихом месте и недалеко от центра, напротив большой супермаркет и прачечная самообслуживания, рядом автовокзал, в этом же здании есть пара кафе! в отеле хорошие завтраки! есть утюг и гладильная доска, в номере есть фен! фото соответствуют действительности!

Basic and average room
Reviewed By KJPhuaStayed at Luna Capsule for 4 nights. Rooms were basic. Cleanliness wise can be better as there was dust and hair on the floor and in toilet. Provide very basic breakfast but we opted to eat out. Staffs were very friendly and location was ok. Located in a quiet area and only about 10-15 minutes walking distance to Semporna town.

Very clean, but due an upgrade
Reviewed By Hazel OThis hostel has a great location if you want a view! It's less convenient if you've got a lot of luggage. It's on the second floor and there is no direct vehicle access. The washrooms are big and clean with extra sinks, mirrors and a hairdryer. The girls dorm is big with 12?16? Beds, so not at all crowded. Each double bunk bed has a privacy curtain (but not individual). Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There are also a lot of common room and dining area facilities if you needed to hangout for a bit. However. There are only two plug sockets in the room. They have extension leads but people are power hungry these days. If there had been anyone else in the dorm I wouldn't have managed to charge everything. There are also no individual bed lights which is a nice feature these days. If someone wants the light on, everyone has to have the light on.

My place is close to Seafront, Semporna Jetty and Famous Restaurant and dining place. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, Privacy and environment . My place is good for solo adventurers and big groups. Also， You'll have an all new experience in our Capsule.
Value for money for transit night between Semporna and Mabul
Reviewed By mfaridzzPrice - value for the amount you paid and cheap to certain extent Facilities- the capsule bed is very comfy and clean but would be better if they upgrade the pillow to a better one. And better lock system as well. Toilet is clean, but water pressure in shower room slightly low. Drinking water is available for free 24 hours at the main lobby, and free fast wifi. Location - good location as it within 50m from the jetty, and alot local food-stall nearby as well. Overall - a good place to stay for transit, but not for a long stay as it can be over crowded if it full house and no free place to put your luggage as others might occupied the free space.

Blue Ocean Lodge is a cozy hostel which only located 2km away from town. With the cozy style hostel 20 rooms - 12 private double room, 5 private single room, 1 mix dorm and 2 female dorm, all rooms are without bathroom/toilet. its shared bathroom, shared common area and shared dining area concept. we also provide Sauna Room and Steam Room for our guests.

Reviewed By MannyAndSidBlue ocean is just the perfect place to stay in semporna. The staff is super helpful and can organize everything for you. Don’t hesitate to book! They even have a sauna! The whole place is very new and clean.

Clean but the stairs and the noise.....
Reviewed By PeterFong67Went to explore new macro dive sites at Pulau Bum Bum, so I stayed in Semporna town itself for the 1st time instead of running off to one of the island resorts. While the newer parts of town where the dive operators are, are quite nice with plenty of food options and hotels, the older part of town, where this hotel is, isn't quite the ideal place for tourists. The town is old and quiet, and you'll find it tough getting dinner past 7pm. The roads are quite dirty and if you're one to be spooked by dark areas and quiet streets, stay in. For breakfast, ignore the popular coffee shop next door - terrible service and tourist prices. Walk round the back towards the Petron petrol station and eat both breakfast and lunch at Semporna Kopitiam. The room itself was functional and lights, aircon and heater worked well. Bed was fine but the location of the shower was odd. There are separate areas to clean your gear and dry them at the rooftop. The common area was also decent for meals or drinks after dives. The steps to lug up your dive gear every day was painful. The hotel is just 100m from the local mosque and their morning prayers seem longer than normal, so bring your ear plugs or get super drunk. Wifi was super good but the TV was not working. The staff are not the most attentive but maybe that's a local thing. The dive sites at Bum Bum are one of the dirtiest I've seen but made up by some interesting macro critters. All in a dirtier but closer alternative to Lembeh.

Noche pesadilla
Reviewed By Nando_MartinezNos quedamos una noche, nos pareció caro para lo q ofrecen, el wifi no funcionaba, una de las 3 duchas comunitarias tampoco. Cuando andabas por la planta de arriba temblaba todo porque el suelo era muy fino, la habitación se encuentra pegada al puerto, el ruido y el olor a pescado de la lonja entraba por las ventanas. Desagradable despertar a las 3:30 am con el ruido de un generador y los gritos de los pescadores. El personal fue agradable No volvería a repetir

Good enough for sleeping. Semporna is not for tourists
Reviewed By 925davidjThe room was ok for sleeping. Nice and confused staff. The moske next door wakes you up nice an early at 0445. Semporna is not a holiday destination. You probably end up in semporna because you are a diver and want to visit the nice divesites outside semporna. There is only a couple places that serves beer and the restaurants is foremost for locals.
