Perfect place to escape and relax
Reviewed By BlackdownalpacaWe stayed here for 6 nights at the start of our Adriatic adventure; a warm welcome, comfortable room, and stunning views from our private garden - only surpassed by the wider view from the enormous pool area. It was so lovely to be able to see the sea in the distance, with the rolling hillsides in between, peppered with small hilltop villages. The buildings have been sympathetically restored to create a calm and classy ambience, situated around a central courtyard where tables are laid on fine evenings for dinner. Dinner in the on-site restaurant was excellent, with wine from the property's own vineyards, and breakfast was also very good. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, service in the restaurant and bar was attentive, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and well prepared. We spent several days driving in the Marche and also into the mountains, enjoying the varied scenery and spectacular views. We were reluctant to leave this lovely place, and plan to return on our next trip to the area.

Reviewed By JoandBrian56We had the most amazing, relaxing stay at this beautiful wine-producing agriturismo. The photos do not do proper justice to the scenery. It is set within its own acres of sloping vineyards high on a hill. From our apartment with its brick vaulted ceiling, you can see miles in all directions to gorgeous medieval hill top villages in the distance and even the sea. The apartment is full of character and every morning when we opened the shutters, we could smell the wine being produced below us. Of course we enjoyed sampling it- it would've been rude not to and have bought a few bottles home to savour at a later date. Everyone who looked after us was charming- particularly Maria, Cristina and lovely little Aurora. Breakfasts were good and the pool simply stunning. GRAZIE MILLE!

Fantastic agriturismo near cute little village

The view from the apartments on Montedinove which sits on top of the hill is breath-taking. The owners are very nice and helpful. August is hot in the Marche, but this makes the pool all the more nice. We would return in a heartbeat.

I saw the one very poor review and, yes the AC and the wifi could both work better, but this is a basic Agriturismo so don't expect 5 stars. We found the rooms and property very clean and the owners very friendly and helpful. What does make La Cantina stand out, way out, is the food. We decided to stay there for dinner, mostly as we were tired from a long drive. We were so glad we did. We live in Italy and have done for many years. We are use to quality Italian food, but La Cantina exceeded our wildest expectations. All the food is local, mostly from the Agriturismo itself. Nothing, but the bottled water, came from more than one Km from the house. We dined on the owner's homemade sausages, prosciutto, wild rape, roast pork (raised and butchered on site) and an assortment of local sweets. All was excellent. Simple and local fare of the highest quality. However, we were amazed to also try the owner's wine. I would challenge anyone to find a better red for under €100 a bottle. We paid a fraction of this cost. His red, a mixture of four grapes, is full bodied, with bags of tannin and overflowing with heady ripe fruits. The entire dinner for three, with the amazing wine, for under €100. Amazing. If you come here for no other reason, come to eat. You will not find better food anywhere.

Reviewed By LAURIEN700We came for a weekend visit, a family of eight. We loved everything about this Magical, well appointed lodging. Very comfortable rooms and gracious hosts made this a true Joy. Although still winter, the climate was very comfortable and the surrounding vineyard and farms were beautiful. Their wine is very good and if you enjoy such things, not to be missed. Close to many wonderful towns to visit while enjoying the peace that the countryside offers. You can catch both the sunrise and the sunset from this ideal location. We highly recommend this little piece of heaven to all that would appreciate it!

This is a great place to visit for a good home cooked meal, they do steak, chicken, lamb, great pasta dishes, also do good pizzas. Can really recommend their mushroom soup its very tasty. Very good for families.
