Excellent out of season stay at Karma di Colleoli
Reviewed By Ritz1613Spent a week here at the beginning of April which was out of season so the pool and restaurant were closed however, Dennis and Dean ensured that we had everything we needed so that we had a comfortable stay (and breakfast). Dennis was very knowledgeable and gave us some very helpful advice on where to visit and eat. He tailored these to suit our needs and likes. The room was spacious, had everything we needed plus a jacuzzi bath tub. It had high ceilings and was tastefully decorated. We even had a library (with working record player) that we could use to socialise in. Dennis and Dean organised a pleasant cheese and wine evening so we were able to meet the other guests and a merry time was had by all. The extensive grounds were beautifully maintained and the views of the Tuscan hills were enchanting. The buildings were varied as the rooms probably are too. The town is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Thank you Dennis for organising the wine tasting and the lovely meal recommendations. We will be returning.

Blue Shades is the sole Hotel really in the area of Pisa internatilan Airport Galileo Galilei. Hotel features modern air-conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. A sweet breakfast is served daily in guests' rooms or in the lounge unpon request. The rooms have a contemporary-style decor and an ensuite bathroom with shower. Each is provided with a flat-screen TV, electric kettle and minibar. You will be able to walk to all the attractions in Pisa including the airport, the train station, main street and the leaning tower. They are all within walking distance airport 5 minutes station 7 minutes the center of Pisa 5 minutes the leaning tower 30 minutes

Reviewed By Dreamer08811866815This hotel was great . A very short walk to the airport. We had what looked like a renovated room and everything was good. Air con worked and bed very comfortable. We left early so did not try the breakfast. If u have a car there is space at the front of the hotel to offload luggage . There are others facilities around so the car park can be busy .

Reviewed By Heather BWe have been travelling for a while now and were in need of a bit of relaxing and this spot was perfect! The rooms, however outdated, were perfect and clean. The shower wasn't the best and the room was very hot. We had a nice balcony to enjoy the peaceful outside. The pool was great and always clean, never too busy either. Alessandro was incredibly helpful. Will definitely recommend!!

Reviewed By y2krok00First of all, I checked in for 'not holiday/vacation' but 'for official business/work.' This hotel charged me before I was even checked in, and I received an alert from my work/business credit card. I thought that was just for holding my reservation, not actual charged for my entire stay. It has never happened before for either personal vacations/holidays and/or business trips. You don't get charged your entire stay until you check out; then you get its receipt for your stay. I have several other things that I don't like from this particular hotel. Although this hotel offers "free breakfast" but it is nothing but "sugary stuff" that I wouldn't give to anyone because you would get sick you eat those. Only thing good was its coffee... That's about it. I have to talk to an owner of this hotel who charged me during my stay, not checked out yet. The Internet/Wi-Fi is not stable (goes out at times). For the hot water, you need to wait for a few minutes. People comes here for Pisa Leaning Tower and its surroundings for a day or two to stay this hotel. Not like us, we're staying more than a week for our work. I would not return to this hotel, and I would not recommend this hotel to others. However, it is any readers to decide his/her own decision, and I'm just writing my personal experience. Thanks for reading.

Stunning Views, Great accomodations
Reviewed By GailNYCStayed here for 2 nights. The villas share a property with the castle and you can use the entire property giving you access to 2 pools and a restaurant. The villa was very spacious with a full kitchen and a loft for a child to sleep above the kitchen. The place was clean and had such charm. The views of the tuscan hills were incredible. The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path and you must have a car.

The views of the Tuscan countryside from the hotel are transcendent and it truly is an experience like no other. If however, you’d rather modern comforts such as strong American air conditioning, don’t stay here. But you’d be missing out on a one of a kind experience.

The hospitality of Mr. Felice is warm and welcoming, our apartment was extremely clean and had all of the space and equipment needed for a romantic dinner on the terrace, looking at the colourful sunset skies and the colourful tuscan fields. But not just the great location of the villa - close and well connected to the majority of typical tuscan villages and cities rich in tradition and culture - but also the experience there - enjoying the pool, the views and the food from the restaurant - made our experience there unforgettable. We strongly recommend Villa Felice and hope to be back there and take another bottle of the rich home made olive oil from Mr Felice. P.S the six small dogs didn't miss to entertain us by every occasion. :)

It is close to some good restaurants, but not much else is happening in the area. Only downside was breakfast. Only sweet treats were offered.

Honestly we were blown away with the style, beauty, attention to detail and fantastic welcome from the owner Valentino! If we had known how fabulous this place was, we world have booked to stay here the entire time! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We will definitely be returning!
