Picturesque gardens in family run b&b
Reviewed By jewels-365We came to Sperlonga in the height of summer and really enjoyed the town. The B&B is situated out of town and it takes around 20 min to walk in. If you're travelling from Rome on the train you can get on a bus to Sperlonga. We walked the rest of the way to the b&b, but I think there might be a taxi service somewhere or you might have to arrange to be picked up by the owner of the b&b who is really helpful. The rooms are basic but very clean. There is a fridge and coffee machine and also an air conditioning unit which really helped in the heat. You can eat 'al fresco' if you have cold food, but there are no cooking facilities as such. For breakfast you receive a basket with pre-packed cakes and croissants etc. Lots of them, but if you're not used to this type of food in the morning you might get a little bored with it after a couple of days. The landlord was extremely helpful and so was his family. We don't speak Italian so communication was a little fraught but the family really made our stay there comfortable. There is a beach in 5min walking distance and we were really happy to use the bikes supplied by the landlord to go to town. All in all we had a great stay in Sperlonga and want to go there again. The L'Anfora is good value for money as a base from where you can arrange your day. My best memory of it was the lovely garden with an opulence of native flowers. Simply gorgeous grounds and so well looked after. Peaceful place. Sperlonga town is so picturesque, we had lovely walks up to the old town which is basically built into the rock. Amazing little windy pathways upwards. Sets you back in time. There are boat trips out to the Emperors cave and the water is absolutely clear and lovely for swimming in. There are many restaurants in town. We had an amazing holiday here although there were not many English speaking people

CasaVictoria is located on Ponza Island in 'Le forna' green belt, on a hill characterized from luxuriant vineyards faces the sea. the position of the apartments, from the road approximately one hundred meters of gentle slope, make them an oasis of quiet and coolness thanks to the green that encircles them. every apartment has level terrace or a gazebo on the lawn to enjoy the charming panorama taking the sun, having a barbecue or playing with your pet. at 300mt from casaVictoria there is the small center with supermarket, restaurant, pub, pizzeria, bar tobacconist, post office and church. the nearest coast slope to the sea from casaVictoria is approximately 900mt and thanks to an equipped boats charter point, it will be also possible to make day-trip on sea with expert sailors or in self government.

Reviewed By KarinL494Casa Victoria definitely is in the most beautiful location on the island of Ponza, with vistas on Palmarola island and Cala dell’Acqua. Outdoors area is spectacular with every apartment having their own space: terrace, garden and outdoors dining table. Lovely small pool overlooking the sea and sunset over Palmarola island. Inside the apartments, or our apartment however was very moist and the mattresses are wayyy too soft for most backs, so be warned for that. Otherwise good value and host Alfredo is super friendly and honest. Grazie!

Creepy hotel and unfriendly front desk staff!
Reviewed By LeenosI won’t waste too much of my time reviewing this thing they call hotel. I’m attaching pics so you can understand what you are getting yourself into if you go there. The front desk random staff knows nothing, about anything and they don’t really even care. To be honest they look quite bothered when you ask for info like WHAT THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?? The views, the rooms and the breakfast are terrible. The furnitures and the bad linens are in terrible conditions (see pic hole in the bed linen) Bathroom has no window and no place to put your products. The set in the shower is so bad I had to go out and buy one myself. DO NOT stay in this place. Check my pics!

Maga Circe apartments sit on a ridge of Cala Feola bay and are a perfect combination of tradition and comfort, an ideal place to spend a holiday in total freedom for those who prefer a quiet and relaxing stay. It is located 100 meters from the beach and consists of 20 different size residential units equipped with private entrance and parking, wide open spaces and panoramic position overlooking Cala Feola bay. The rooms are well furnished and provided with a fully equipped kitchen, and whoever wishes may dine at "La Terrazza" rooftop restaurant (a few hundred meters away), taking advantage of a convention reserved for our guests. Near the complex there is a minimarket and a bar with tobacco store for the most immediate needs. Other shops, bars and restaurants are located in the centre of Le Forna village, about 900 meters away, also connected by bus every 30 minutes. Possibility of taking boat trips or renting motor boats directly from the small port near Cala Feola beach.

VFM for any long stay and walking distance to Aprilia 2 Mall. Good rooms and property. Location is away from town and must have car as no taxi or bus service. Local contacts to be arranged for car. All in all great experience and will visit again. Recommended for longs stays of more than 1-2 weeks or you want a quiet stay place

Reviewed By michelesmith2016Situated beside the lake, the accommodation is made up of lots of little units around the gardens, looked after by the very pleasant and helpful Simone who also set up breakfast each morning. He even, very kindly brought breakfast to our room on our last day so we could sit outside overlooking the lake.

Le foto non rendono giustizia alla bellezza del posto.Tutti gli appartamenti,oltre ad essere attrezzatissimi e pulitissimi,affacciavano sul mare così da poterci far godere pienamente del soggiorno a Sperlonga. Un ringraziamento in particolare ai proprietari della struttura per la gentilezza e disponibilità mostrataci ,soprattutto a Giulio un ragazzo veramente educato e cordiale. Grazie ancora, a presto ❤️

Reviewed By Loretta GAt first sight this place place would seem a little off the beaten track, but once you find your way, you realise that it is only a short walk to everything you need. The staff are excellent and always helpful and willing to please. Any request was dealt with efficiently and always with a smile. If you don’t feel like going out the suggestive restaurant overlooking the port is a perfect night out. No menu, just fresh produce of the day, elegantly presented. Rooms were spacious and clean. We had a quadruple and it was like a mini apartment. Lots of outdoor space and plenty of seating if you just fancy relaxing at the hotel for the day. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this place to friends.

All the apartments are furnished; each flat (around 60 square meters) is formed by 1 kitchen-diner, 2 bed-rooms and one bath-room.
