Unacceptable mattress
Reviewed By Panagiotis PFourth time at this hotel and definitely last. We had a two bedroom apartment (room no 5) - it had definitely the worst/hardest mattress I have ever come across at a hotel. Our bodies were aching after the first night, things did not improve the second night when we complained and they added a quilt on top of the mattress. We are not talking about a tight, hard mattress - it was like sleeping on the floor and our impression was the owner must have had complaints in the past about this as she did not seem surprised when we complained - she easily offered us to only pay for the night we stayed and go if we wanted. Lastly, in a period when pandemic is still here it is unacceptable to have outside visitors at the pool just for the sake of extra revenues (5 euros per person). They did it before the pandemic, we had pointed out again that this degrades the quality for the residents with the pool full of outsiders and they had promised to stop the practice. Although, the room was clean and view is nice, the above issues (primarily mattress and also pool issue) show lack of respect for the hotel’s guests, regardless of the (indeed low) price. The tables at the pool area need also to be cleaned more diligently.

Fabulous Place
Reviewed By ManderjThis was our second visit. It was absolutely fabulous again. Such a lovely warm welcome from Alex and Sonila as soon as we arrived. Such a lovely family and made our stay so very special. Fabulous views from our bungalow. Ate most evenings in the restaurant as Sonila is such a great chef. She really went the extra mile and cooked some fantastic meals. She also does great breakfasts, lunches and snacks. It was great to sit by the pool, have a swim, enjoy a snack and take in those wonderful views. Helen was very helpful and welcoming and made the booking very easy. Alex, Sonilla and Merremae really made our holiday and we had some great laughs and had so much fun. We will be back again to this wonderful special place.

Quarantine week
Reviewed By TapaniR27Very central location. The streets are narrow and during nights silent. There is a lift, but stair to the front door. Acceptable cooking facilities thus during time when all restaurants are closed on could need some more.

Reviewed By 539kathypWe were two families travelling with teenage children. I cannot emphasise enough how helpful and friendly the staff were during our stay. Breakfast was included and was an excellent choice of bread, ham, cheese, yoghurts, honey, fruit, eggs etc. Fantastic variety of meals for lunchtime and evening and a super Greek night, that saw me dancing on the bar after some encouragement and I loved it! (I’m in my 50’s) you are quite remote so will need a car, the local town is lovely and had some good beach tavernas for evening meals. The beach by the hotel is not good / we went once for a few hours but gave up - sea isn’t clear because it’s in a bay and the sand isn’t good. However, the individual pools at the hotel make up for it. One pool between about 8 apartments, so often we had the pool to ourselves. It was heaven. They’ll bring food and drink to your sun bed too. One thing I will say I’d be careful what you’re booking - we thought we were having one of the apartments on a level with the pool, so were totally gutted when we were shown to a basement apartment. Not what we had booked. There was a small area to sit out on the grass but we didn’t. These are budget rooms so when you book just check . However, the apartment was huge and had everything we needed and actually was nice and cool being a basement so it was fine, just a shock at first. Despite this, we had a wonderful holiday, fabulous hotel, fabulous pool, food and staff

Reviewed By Hanne Rikke JI have just come home from a wonderful week at this charming small hotell, not far from the square in Plomari. The owner,Paris is a very, very nice, helpfull and smiling person. Always available if you need something. All the rooms have sea viuw and with a very equipped kitchen. But, you must like to walk in stairs , specially if you live on the top. If I go back to Plomary, this will be my place to stay.

Reviewed By Chris PCentrally located you can take walks by the water front or walk in town. Clean room and friendly reception desk made all the difference! A bit noisy and hard to find parking nearby. I would stay there again!

Three week stay
Reviewed By JohnVG007We had two rooms that were both adequately furnished and equipped in every respect. One room had two balconies both with nice rural views. The family that owns and manage Paradise Studios could not have helped and served us better than they did. Sheets and towels were frequently changed. The location is only ten minutes walk to Petra Square and another few minutes to the beaches of either Petra or Avalaki. Petra Square is the hub for shops, bars, and restaurants all of which provide good quality goods at reasonable prices. We have been to Petra almost twenty times having stayed elsewhere; I so wish we had discovered this jewel before. Their swimming pool is immaculately clean and the poolside loungers are plentiful and comfortable. You cannot be disappointed with anything in my view. We will definitely stay at Paradise Studios every time we decide to return to Petra.

Blue Waves is made up of 5 newly-built tourist residences of 80m2 each, 8 studios and 2 appartments all of which boast a balcony with outdoor furniture that overlooks the seafront. All the units of the property are fully furnished and equipped so as to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests. The terrace in front of the property boasts 2 acres of lawn where the adults’ and the children’s swimming pools are located,as well as sunloungers and sun umbrellas ,a bar where our guests enjoy their meal and experience moments of relaxation and free park sites. Moreover free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Blue Waves is located 100 metres away from the famous beach Agios Isidoros and 1000 metres from the area Agios Isidoros where small shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues are set.

Located outside turbulent Plomari, still close to several restaurants. Very nice and clean room, very helpful and friendly staff - Maria helped a lot
