Ultra Compact 5 Bed AC Room. No Wash Basin
Reviewed By albatriqPleasant Inn is centrally located in Kochi. The 5 Bed AC room we got was minuscule, with no space to move around. The room also did not have a wash basin, which was very inconvenient . Probably because of lack of space, the owner decided to do away with the wash basin. The Inn's parking space can accommodate small cars. If you happen to bring a 5 door wagon, you have to park your car on the road.

Good amenities as listed and maintained it with highest degree of quality and cleanliness. Staff are very courteous and attentive to even our smallest concern . I will give a perfect thumbs up because u stayed with my children .

Hotel reception is in a dark garage corner.. staff was ok, at least they were understand English. We were 6, so we booked 3 rooms (two with separate beds and one with double). They gave us rooms in different floors, at one, four and six.. it wasn’t comfortable at all.. room was clean and the a/c was working properly. The next day we had a fly in the evening so we wanted to stay in a hotel till the max hour. Our receptionist told us that we MUST check out at 11 a.m, if not we must to pay 500rps. In our booking was written that we must go at 12..

I had booked 2 nights at this hotel online this morning as it was conveniently close to the airport and a good price. Paid uber and arrived at the hotel at 9pm, only to be told that they don't accept foreigners!! (Even though I hold an OCI.) A female travelling alone late at night. Front desk called customer services for me. I was promptly and repeatedly told (by Shiram) there was nothing he could do to help me. I would have to sort out the refund myself with the provider, pay for another hotel, pay for my transport again, and no compensation whatsoever! Apparently this has happened before, management was advised and yet nothing has been done. Had I known I would not be allowed to stay here, I would have booked a different hotel one time, saved my money and time and not go through this hellish experience! I can't believe his total lack of concern, to just say anyone higher is off duty, nothing can be done, not even to try. I refused that response, and waited for him to get back to me. They can't even shift me to another property because they are full. I asked to book a different hotel at least as compensation. Still just being told hotels are all full. So I don't know where they expect me to book and stay tonight at 11pm. The Area Business head is now not answering his phone. Sickening! Sadly, from his attitude, I'm not very hopeful. The one star is for the reception staff who are somewhat trying to help me. I am literally sitting in the lobby at 11pm, tired, hungry and sick, being told that I must just sort myself out, after already paying, not being informed of this policy, no compensation, no help, nothing. Not sure where to go, how much extra I'll have to pay, if I'll have enough money, if it's even safe. And the managers of this property don't care one bit!
