Spent the weekend with friends. Had a great time in a rented chalet - very clean. Lovely, well kept, idyllic surroundings set by the lake. Saturday- bt sport on TV and great entertainment. The act the site put on was more than a holiday camp- really good singers and professional. Reasonably priced for food and beer.

Amazing lifeguarding team !

Where do I even start… All of the lifeguarding team just work so hard to keep everyone safe. I can’t even imagine how many steps they get in patrolling the lazy river ! The changing rooms were immaculate and Rachel on reception was more than helpful. I got the names of the two lifeguards who were incredible, Sarah and Amelia I believe. They are very competent in their job roles and my kids had a great time on the slide.

Bell Tent Glamping

Great campsite

Reviewed By tobyb420

We stayed as a group of 4 families and it had everything we needed to have a really enjoyable weekend. The site was easy to get to following the instructions that were given by the site (Google maps got a bit confused trying to send us to a different entrance but we followed the road signs). Once we arrived there is pace to park by each tent leaving a nice open space in the middle which we, and others at the site, could use for games with the kids. Each tent had a barbecue pit which we used for cooking but also to make a fire in the evening. There was also an electric grill under shelter which we used when it was raining and for making breakfast before we left. The grill ended up being very useful. When we were told there was tea and coffee available we were expecting a few sachets and teabags each but the kitchen was amply stocked for all 10 tents. The toilet bloke was always clean stocked up with loo roll so no threat of being caught short. The tent itself was the perfect size for a family of 4 with a trunk to store bits in and room to sleep or relax. The heater was a great touch and more than adequate to keep the tent warm at night. The location was perfect for taking a young family with plenty of things to do including a great play area within 10 minutes walk. There is a tesco extra within 10 minutes drive so was easy to pick up food or anything that is forgotten when packing. The site also had some takeaway menus inside the kitchen area of the campsite and the nearby cafe had pasties and pizzas as well as sandwiches. There was also a guy selling coffee by the entrance if you fancy walking to the beach area. The person running the site, Jim, was brilliant. He was friendly and never seemed too far away if you needed him. All 4 families we were with were very happy and would go back to the site.

Fantastic site, well kept and maintained, good toilets and showers, stayed on a fully serviced pitch. 10 minute walk into Henley on Thames. Only issue was the opening times of the restaurant which was hit and miss due to staff shortages. Would stay again
