Birthplace of poet Dylan Thomas, and the second-largest city in Wales, resilient Swansea offers a slew of leafy parks and some impressive cultural centers, including the new National Waterfront Museum and the renowned Dylan Thomas Centre. Rebuilt after WWII, the modern city of 230,000 has a charming outlook over Swansea Bay and the picturesque, unspoiled 16-mile-long Gower Peninsula, home to rich wildlife, prehistoric standing stones, dramatic cliffs and lovely beaches.

The Kings Head is A four-star Country Inn with 27 rooms. All of our rooms are of a very high standard, with ensuite facilities and underfloor heating. Our rooms offer a host of features which we hope will make your stay most relaxing. The Kings Head was rated in the top ten summer pubs in Britain by the Sunday Times Magazine, 2006. & recommended in Which holiday magazine.
Rooms are spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean (but not too keen on stone floor). Good choice at breakfast and food was delicious. Friendly and efficient staff. Booking for evening meal is a must as very busy, even though there are plenty of tables.

What an absolute delight! Utterly charming hosts, Philip & Jeanette, made us immediately welcome, attending to our every need and ensuring our "Fantaisie Parisienne" was a truly memorable one. Indeed, we were additionally spoilt with an unexpected "extra" which put the icing on the cake for our wedding anniversary. Both icing & cake were delicious, by the way! Great imagination plus warm hospitality ensures 5 genuine stars from us and our thorough recommendation. P & J - You're welcome!

Recently opened after an extensive reservation program providing a pub, superb beer garden and popular a-la-carte restaurant. Friendly attentive staff, ample parking and a great atmosphere. We have a mix of single and double rooms with full English breakfast to get you started for the day ahead.
The rooms are clean and tidy with everything you need. We ate at the bar which was good quality pub food. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast the next morning was good and again friendly staff. Based on the room being clean, the size of the room, the quality of food and friendly staff, for the money we would stay here again.

We are located in an 18th century Welsh Cottage in a small village in the Upper Swansea Valley. This is at the South Western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and opposite the less visited Black Mountain Range. ( Not to be confused with the Black Mountains on the other side of the park!) We have stunning views of the mountains from all our rooms and we also have 3 acres of land which is perfect for a relaxing morning stroll with the dog or letting the kids run wild! Dogs are welcome here in all our rooms and are treated as special guests. Please note that all dogs must be fully vaccinated and also be kept on leads when exploring our smallholding if there are sheep located in the neighbouring fields. All rooms have en-suites, TV's and heating. There is also wifi throughout the property. The prices include breakfast and unlimited tea and coffee. We have plenty of on site parking. We also provide extras such as late arrival meals and packed lunches.
My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights with our dog. Julia was an amazing host. She recommended us great places to go and looked after us well. Very lovely breakfast too. The B&B is in a good location, near a lot of lovely places to go. We had a relaxing stay and our dog enjoyed it a lot too. Our room is a little bit small though but clean.

This hotel is revolting. It is dirty, the mattresses are old and full of uncomfortable springs. The rooms and corridors resemble a prison. The breakfast list is a joke as only one thing on it was available, even though a whole host of foods are listed - it then arrives in a paper bag and the coffee in a plastic cup. The 'take away' breakfast is nothing to do with Covid - it is simply that the greedy owner does not want his cafe full of people from the hotel when they have already paid for breakfast. This place is the most unprofessional hotel I have seen or stayed in, in my life! Avoid and book a proper hotel!

Wynberg House is a Bed and Breakfast and home away situated in the village of Sketty in the Heart of Swansea and Glamorgan. Swansea Bay are only 1.7 Km away and in walking distance to Swansea University. Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace and a shared lounge. Breakfast is included with every stay.
We arrived initially unsure if we were at the right place as it looked like a normal house with no signage. Upon entering we realised it was a b&b living with the hosts. We were welcomed with open arms to a beautiful home. The hosts were welcoming and caring. They went above and beyond with the extra touches throughout our stay, ranging from ample choices of toiletries, snacks, and even lighting candles in the morning before waking. The entire stay left us in awe. Breakfast was simply amazing, and it was so lovely being invited to sit with the host at a shared table. Again its not something ive ever done before, but it added to the comfort and welcoming feel of the hosts. Its very rare im speechless from leaving a place but the overwhelming feeling of care really added to the heartfelt stay. The dogs are also beautiful. 10/10 recommend. Thank you for having us.
