The common area is very well designed, it has games, books, and magazines, making the place very cosy. It is great to spend some peaceful time with family and friends. The location is a little off-road and the approach road is quite narrow. The apartment could become a service apartment if they provide a functioning kitchen.

Good stay, worst beach and food
Reviewed By Bella_MyraHotel west coast is the only hotel in the vicinity of Nagaon is good hotel to stay, clean, comfortable stay. Other than that nothing is good. Beach is far away, dirty beach, worst food in the hotel which will make you sick. Sea food is basically stale and that will trouble your stomach. Mistake we did is to plan Alibag trip where there are no beach resorts. Surely this was my last Alibag trip. Avoid eating at restaurant and eat outside nearby restaurants

We made use of the hotel's excellent car service for pick-up at the nearest train stations (Roha and Mangaon). Food is quite good and can be brought up to the room, and the view, location, and attitude of everyone working here are top notch.

A good place for a weekend getaway with friends.
Reviewed By ChandanCI visited the Sai River Resort at Khopoli, last Saturday. Khopoli is a town that is in the outskirts of Navi Mumbai. It's monsoon hotspot for the tourists who'll flock to Khopoli and the other landmark places like Lonavala & Khandala to enjoy the rains and waterfalls. Khopoli during the summers was definitely a bad idea, but when you are in the company of ex colleagues, you care less. We were about a group of 14-15 odd people, all ex colleagues, who planned this trip and ended up booking this resort. The resort is located right on the old Mumbai-Pune Highway, which eases out the stress associated with locating the place. The resort is a big property. There's plenty of rooms and wooden cabins for the guests. I personally felt that for a resort of this size, the parking space could have been bigger, but nonetheless, we could park our cars comfortably. By the time I reached, my friends had already checked in, so did not go through the check-in process. The reception area seemed small and cramped, and entertaining more than 2 guests at a time may seem like a chaos. In the little that I explored, there were 2 types of rooms - the regular rooms and the wooden cottages/cabins. We had booked both. The regular rooms are pretty big in size and can easily accommodate 2 on bed, and 2 on the floor, with extra mattresses. The rooms are clean, the linens were neat, both, the TV & the ACs were functional. But do note that, at this time of the year, it's so hot that you'll have to leave the ACs turned on for quite some time for the rooms to become cooler. Otherwise, when you enter (especially the wooden cabins) you feel like you have entered a furnace - it's that hot. I am certain, this would not be the case during monsoon or during winter. The wooden cabins are a lot smaller in size, but fully functional and is neatly done up. The wooden cabins come with a small sit-out area where you can relax and enjoy some friendly conversation over beer/coffee. That reminds me that there's no in-room refrigerator, if you need a beer, you'll have to call up room service. There's coffee/tea provisions in the room. Food - breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks - are served in their dining area which is closer to the reception area. The restaurant / dining area has two sections - the AC & non-AC. For the money we paid, I think we got a good deal when it came to food. There was the usual stuff - nothing too fancy - but good enough to offer you some variety. For the non vegetarians, the only option available was chicken. Hotels need to be a little more creative with the non-vegetarian menu, especially, if they are serving chicken two times a day. After a while, even the chicken starts to taste like potato. The breakfast spread was also decent and had the usual suspects on the table - poha, bhurji, missal, idli, bread toast... The resort has a small swimming pool and a large water park themed water zone. You have a few slides, provision for rain dance etc etc. That entire area was a huge let down for me. Firstly, I did not feel that the swimming pool was cleaned in the last few days. There was absolutely no dress code for people to enter the pool - men wearing their vests & Macho's went inside without anyone from the hotel administration stopping them. I did not find that hygenic at all. While few of my colleagues went in, I refused. So, for me, in the entire resort, the water park and the swimming pool was a big let down. In fact, one of the reasons I went there was to enjoy their slides, taking a dip in the pool... The resort also has large open spaces where we could go and play some sports, which in India is, cricket. However, for the more adventurous, there's a river flowing right behind the resort property which can be explored. We were short of time and hence, could not really step outside and enjoy the river. The water currents were good despite the season. If you are going there with kids and intend to hang outside your rooms in the evening, please carry adequate supply of Odomos. You'll need them. There aren't mosquitoes in the room, but the open spaces like gardens, sit-outs are usually places that mosquitoes love, and you'll find them in plenty there. Overall, no major complaints except for the pool & the water park. I enjoyed the stay, the rooms were nice, the food was decent and the price was less. Will I go there again - well, yes, sometime during the monsoon.

Memorable family trip
Reviewed By Hemant PWe all from the office went to Anand Agro resort alongwith our family. The place was so mesmerizing that we all fall in love with this place. Place is little far from Kashid Beach, however the resort is so amazing that the distance from sea is made up by the atmosphere of the resort. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have all basic amenities. The staff here is very courteous and took good care of all of us. Mr. Akbar himself was there to take care of us. They also arranged a special DJ for our group. Special thanks to Ms. Prachi who arranged all the things at a short notice. The swimming pool was very clean and properly maintained. The food was very tasty and had great variety. All in all a very good experience and memorable trip. Thank you team for the awesome hospitality. Will definitely recommend Anand Agro Resort to everyone.

The best part is that it is small resort with 8 rooms hence you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the crowds. The bathroom was clean well maintained. 2 things have scope for improvement. 1. The geyser quality should be improved. Hot water supply was not continuous. 2. Should install an exhaust fan in the bathroom. WiFi was available. Although not much in room amenities like tea/coffee maker or study table. The resort is located off the Nagaon - Revdanda road in the middle of many locals. Hence it was very peaceful. The swimming pool is small but well maintained. We enjoyed a dip on both days with our daughter. She enjoyed a lot. Suggestion: They should discourage guests from using the pool in non swimming attire and eating around the pool. Saw some guests doing the same. The staff is well mannered and courteous. We had booked the all meals included stay. They have an in-house restaurant and all the meals were nice and tasty. Although the buffet spread had limited options, the food was awesome. For nonveg lovers they have chicken in lunch and fish for dinner. The restaurant is on the 1st floor and hence gives a nice view of the property as well as the greenery around the resort. The only disadvantage is that it is located 4 km away from the nearest beach which is Nagaon beach. Although we did not find this as an advantage since we were happy to be away from the crowds. The resort although located in Nagaon, is convenient to go explore towards Kashid and Alibag. Tip: Choose the rooms which are pool facing as against the rooms close to the reception/restaurant.
