Victorian building sirca 1895, boasting it's original features and charm, close to town centre and all local amenities. All rooms are newly restored and decorated sympathetically to the style and era of the building itself. Rich in character and luxury. Sumptious toiletries are supplied and egyptian cotton robes and slippers available to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. - Hot Tub can be booked as a separate arrangement at £ 15 per person. - Breakfast can be included for £7.50 Pppn.
A Lovely Place to Stay
Reviewed By Andy HI stayed for three nights in the Parisian Room on a B&B basis. The room was clean and well appointed, the decor is superb, the bed comfortable, the shower warm with plentiful water. The room is on the second floor so bear this in mind if you have any infirmities. The room is at the front of the house so there is some road noise, and at night this comes from Peterhead’s over abundance of young men in cars with loud pipes. Luckily they have to be in bed by 23:30 so your sleep should not be disturbed too much. The walls are thin between the rooms, but this can lead to listening to impromptu entertainment such as the castrato in the adjoining room singing along to the boy bands on the TV channel to which he was tuned. The Wi-Fi failed on two consecutive evenings, but I had a decent mobile signal from Three, so all was not lost. The booking in procedure was straightforward and I was given a door code to access the place. Breakfast was in the Continental style, and there was plenty to choose from. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the rooms to make yourself a drink. Overall a very good value stay in a town that appears to have little to offer, with a high street whose highlight is the Spex Shop with the P missing from the first word of its shop sign!

The Guest House is the former Manse of the Congregational Church opposite and has many of the original features, Large Rooms, High Ceilings, Pillars, Cornicing etc, we even have the Original Closet for the Ministers Robes. The House is run on a Bed+ Breakfast Basis with Full Scottish, Vegetarian, Continental on offer, special diets are also catered for on request. The House has a large walled garden making it a safe Parking Place for Motor Bikes, Cars + Bicycles. We are also near to the Beach/ Town centre/ Museum/ Library/ Courthouse/ Golf Course/ Fish Market/ Maritime College/ Supermarkets/ Swimming Pool/ Fitness Centre and Health Centre. Accommodation can also be made available on a Room only basis on Request. The Guest House has a warm homely atmosphere and we hope to welcome you soon

The house is delightfully old and full of character. The bed was comfortable and the area surprisingly quiet considering it is in the middle of town. My single room had everything I needed including a small fridge and a microwave. The room was cleaned and the bed linen and towels changed every day. George's cooked breakfast was HUGE and very tasty. You won't find better accommodation at such a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Trudy and George. I'll be back!

Reviewed By masterchef1872Good value digs. Soundproofing is annoying. People banging about upstairs. Room 4 is not an en-suite. You have to walk into the corridor to go to your " room 4 toilet " Shower cubicle is in the room. Room is clean and bed is made every day.

Reviewed By VernonMGHLoved staying overnight in this pretty hotel. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming! Quaint restaurant and pub with a great selection on the menu. The room is very spacious, quality mattresses and comes with toiletries, a fridge plenty of tea and coffee, the biscuits a nice touch. Shower / toilet spotless! All necessary Covid precautions are taken. Enjoyed our stay! Will definitely stay again if in the area!

Disgraceful
Reviewed By Declan2021I'm not surprised to read a review here on staff being rude & in need of training, within 60 seconds of walking into the place a regular customer kicked & tried to fight me because I told him not to put his hand on my arm in a pandemic. I asked the staff to bar him & they refused so I rang the police who I told to just caution him, when I told him he was lucky not to be arrested he tried to fight me again. I went in the next day to speak to the owner, expecting an apology & a different staff member was rude & defensive of her rough customers. With staff like that I'm not surprised they attract rough customers. Disgraceful

Reviewed By F831WXjoannewThis was the best overnight stay ever! Pool and jacuzzi was lovely and warm it was so relaxing. Rooms were super clean and bed was extreemly comfortable. We had booked for the 1 night and wished we had longer, Just to make use of all the facilities. Run by a really friendly couple that were very welcoming who made us feel at home straight away. Definitely will book again for 2 nights. An amazing place to be, Perfect place to clear your head.
