I would like to stay at this hotel again
Reviewed By leysi rMy last trip to djerba was Christmas 2017, I stayed at this hotel twice and it’s comfortable, the town is very near, night life is very close as well, food very good and chef is very proud of his cooking, I would stay here again when I next go to Tunisia when is safe to travel, I will be staying at this hotel as it offers value for money, I prefer all inclusive accommodation if I can get it ???

Our guest house is located on the first line of the sea, 200 m from a beautiful beach which has remained wild and preserved on the west coast of the island of Djerba. We have a large outdoor swimming pool. The property consists of 3 double bedrooms, living room, bathroom, wc, 1 bed 160 and 1 extra bed of 90 as well as a private terrace the whole on 35 m2. 1 suite 4 people, living room, bathroom, wc, including 2 bedrooms, one for children, with private terrace sea view. For your relaxation, a solarium on the terrace with sea view. Our excursions office offers: massages and treatments Faces, hairdresser at home. But also hiking in 4/4 and quad, rides in horse-drawn carriages or on horseback, promenade in sea and jet ski. We are in formula bed in breakfast and we propose for the evening meal a table of hosts with supplement.
Beautiful relaxing place away from the tourist crowds
Reviewed By Jameela DWe spent 3 nights at dar chick Yahya and everything was absolutely lovely. The room for 5 people was very spacious and clean the bathroom with shower was adequate and the AC units in each room worked perfectly. The communal space is spacious and clean the pool is the best way to spend the hot days. The nearby beach is indeed untouched and there are very few people. The view is incredible from the property. I totally recommend this place. One major thing to note however: the property is very isolated and therefore you will absolutely need to take the car out for every meal (breakfast is served on site). Nearby restaurants vary in price and quality (avoid the nearest Sunset Park). It is a bit of a hassle to have to drive far at every meal because of the extreme heat in the summer and the owner does offer dinner on order. It is home made and delicious but comes at a hefty price of 30 dinars per person ( for a family of 5 it quickly adds up). I still would recommend the place but do keep this in mind. The owners were charming and welcoming and very nice.

An oasis of style and taste on Djerba
Reviewed By bramhubbellDar Bibine is a special oasis for travelers. We only met Gerard, but he also told us many stories about his wife. They have lovingly built the most beautiful little bed and breakfast on Djerba. Each of the five rooms are unique and immaculately decorated. Every morning Gerard oversaw a unique breakfast being prepared for all the guests. He even explained how certain recipes were handed down from his grandmother. And if you're lucky Gerard might share a delicious bottle of Tunisian wine or some spirits after a day of exploring Djerba. You will love every minute at Dar Bibine.

Hookers and watered down vodka
Reviewed By Issa7654When we 1st checked in, a lovely old man checked us in, so we thought it would be a nice quite place to stay. The reason we chose this is we wanted a place that took 4 people and there wasn't that many places available last minute 5 minutes after we arrived we got a phone call from some hooker giving us her room number and asking whatever we needed she could do(In case your wondering, the offer was 100 each, but if we all wanted a turn, she would do it for 80 each) Anyway the apartment was ok, but run down but it was clean. The place definitely needs some maintenance By evening when the bars fill up, basically it's a pick up joint for hookers(in case your wondering not many were hot, mostly they were the ones not hot enough to get customers in the nicer clubs/bars in town) No idea about breakfast coz we didn't wake up in time There's 2 other points to make and that's about the service, and the bar. The service is pretty lame, I asked reception for an iron about 8pm, and she said she can't give us one because housekeeping room was locked. it would have taken her a minute to call one of the employees or go her self and get the iron but she was to busy chatting on the phone. The other point is a huge deal and concerns the bar. Being a pick up joint for hookers, most patrons are drunk or something because the alcohol is very watered down. Don't bother drinking vodka/whiskey, the beer should be ok because it is sealed. Would I stay again, definitely not. For the 110USD we paid for a night we could have rented a really nice apartment for the price, and that's what I would do next time if we go as a group and we arrive at a decent time. Anyway, hope this helps

Reviewed By abdellassHôtel bien placé dans la ville de Houm Souk, et assez récent. Le service d’accueil et celui au petit déjeuner sont au petit soin. Par contre le parking ne dispose que de cinq places. Les chambres sont assez vaste, par contre l’emplacement des toilettes avec la douche sont assez originales. Malgré ce détail, je recommande le mieux pour un séjour de 2-3 nuits.

Alessandra was incredibly patient and flexible with us as we navigated post-coronavirus travel (coming from Tunis), giving us lots of tips and advice regarding our trip. Also - they respect all the rules and more, making sure the hotel is safe from the coronavirus. Once we arrived, Alessandra, Hanan and Michaela could not have been more attentive and helpful throughout our trip. The rooms were excellent, we stayed in the Firdous suite which had its own kitchenette and fridge which was very useful. The suite was spacious, very clean and comfy. The surrounding area, including the patio, was lovely - and we ate delicious italian meals cooked by Michaela on the terrace every evening. The breakfast was ridiculous - such a spread! Certainly the best I have ever had in Tunisia and incredible for the value of the hotel. We had jams, cakes, breads, juices, coffee, tea, fruits and yoghurts to name but a few. For the value of the place, I could not recommend a stay more! Thank you so much we wish we could have stayed for weeks!!!

Reviewed By Fra_BukIf you are not a fan of big fancy hotels (of which Djerba is full of), then Dar Lola is the place to go! Right at the entrance of the medina of Houmt Souk, this beautiful guesthouse has a lovely entrance, few quiet rooms (all color coded!) and a wonderful rooftop where you can chill while stargazing. Most probably you will be welcomed by Chayma, who is one of the greatest hosts I’ve ever had. She is nice and super helpful for everything you may need - from tips on where to go to restaurants and places to rent cars. Chayma also let us use the kitchen to cook dinner few nights, which was very nice of her!
