The property is located on the road that leads to the Island of Caprera, less than 2 km from the historic centre. The main beaches of the island are easily reachable in a few minutes. Reviewed By Sancho1982Staff is amazing, rooms are big and with AC. Extremely easy with small kids. Two restaurants next door are better than what you will find in the tourist areas. Easy access to beaches as you avoid traffic. All great, would return! Location to downtown is not so easy to walk with small kids, not an issue if you have a car aa at night even in high season there is free parking downtown.

Reviewed By peterfb2015Great place on the panoramic route round both Islands , almost aerial ! 3 km above Maddalena ,( directions turn right from the ferry to last main large roundabout in town turn left and take the Bia Trinita route from the town centre , turn. right past the hospital and continue past the cemetery , turn right at the main cross roads , and second right on tarmac road opposite , circular road mirror ,the Villa is the second last on the road on the left side ) Here you can experience the real treat of the island views and sun sunset on lovely terrance and enclosed protected and secure garden. Great also for E bikes Lovely room with excellent shower, individually prepared breakfast , fresh orange juice . Very friendly and helpful . Depending on the time of the year you can use the kitchen facilities which are considerable and the supermarket is not that far on the main route to town ,they will kindly also help obtain food and wine items . It is a great location also to enjoy the restaurants of Maddalena but away from the tourists . It is best for single / couples with a car or E bikes . The people are incredibly friendly and helpful !

Reviewed By FS82551We booked in for 2 nights after a long drive from the UK, so wanted a decent bed and sleep before we moved to campsites. First impressions, freshly painted house, in ok area of town. Could park on the road or public car park. 5 min walk downhill into town. The owner, despite not speaking English, and our pathetic attempt at Italian was utterly delightful. The entrance hall and bedroom was very charming. Ok, so we could not get the wifi to work, and our bedroom had a bath with a shower that you had to hold up, the front of the top drawer fell off, and our bathroom door, and one of the other bedroom doors knocked against it's frame most of the night... Maybe a little steep in price; Except that you are a captive audience on Maddalena.... But all that said, there was a delightful charm to the B+B that carried these little intricacies well and you couldn't help but forgive them.

Great views from the rooms, and unbelievably soft mattress and pillows! Modern bathrooms with all amenities you may need. Jaime, the owner is very friendly and speaks fluent English. Highly recommended!

Very nice apartments with all you need, great breakfast, clean and spacious rooms with laundry machine, kichenette etc. Top location to stroll through the village, close to port, restaurants and small shops. Next to church, parking a bit of a challenge but manageable. Need car or take bus to visit the beaches. Very friendly staff with little English... but no issue whatsoever, highly recommended when visiting the little island

Reviewed By mike rMe and my family stayed for the 2nd consecutive year in the Rezidencia Mordinis Cala Gavetta suite and once again it was a fantastic experience. We just love staying here it is really good. The suite is big , great bathroom a kitchenette with great fridge and microwave and is right on the harbour and all the shops , bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. The service in being able to park the car at the Mordini hoel is a great advantage as a car is totally necessary if you want to explore all of La Maddelena. Simona and her colleagues do a great job in making it simple but delightful. Once again a great holiday with great memories. We will be back.
