Peaceful stay
Reviewed By Carol RStayed two nights. Simple hotel at foot of Dazhai with comfortable bed and great shower . Lovely view from our room. Could benefit from a little refurbishment ( cracked window pane and update shower cubicle) but overall we had a lovely peaceful stay here . Great breakfast with omelette, pork , homemade bread and fruit ( watermelon and passion fruit which were in season when we were there). The owner Sandy was delightful.

Unparalleled views of the rice terraces
Reviewed By Jonathan AThe location of this guesthouse is excellent, if not a little strenuous to get to. Sure, it's a 30-minute climb up the hill, but you are rewarded with a splendid overview of the stunning rice terraces. Staff at the front desk spoke very good English, and were generally very welcoming and helpful. Opt for an upgrade if you can - rooms 200 and 300 come with an enormous balcony, providing unparalleled views of the rice terraces. They also face the direction of sunrise, which means you can enjoy the splendor of the sun rising over the rice terraces without having to jostle with the crowds at the sunrise viewing spot. Breakfast was provided with our booking.

Great country Inn with the incredible views
Reviewed By Steven MThis is a very unique destination. The setting is among the most beautiful I've seen anywhere. This inn is situated in a village high up in the mountains amid the famous terraced rice fields. And this hotel's site is the highest in this village affording totally unobstructed views. This is a country inn... not a Ritz Carlton... Having said that, there are decent amenities and excellent local food. All is executed by the owner-family with grace and dedication to their guests' comfort. It was an added bonus that the lovely woman overseeing it all speaks excellent English. Caveat: getting to the hotel requires a 1/2 hour walk thru the rice fields ( paved walk). A little challenging with our bags.. but doable. While we declined to engage porters to carry our bags (they had rollers), we did hire them for the return to the parking area....US$7. per bag.. and well worth it. This is a very special place to visit!!

Beautiful Views with a Warm Cozy Feel
Reviewed By ZhuHuaLongEven though it was the rainy season and rained almost constantly, the hotel was very dry and had a cozy feel. The owner was very friendly and did everything he could to make our stay very comfortable. We chose the three bed room which included two balconies that provided a beautiful view of the terraced rice fields. Due to its location, there is a little climb to the hotel (as with all of the hotels on the mountain), but it wasn't any trouble.

Great location but not too western family friendly
Reviewed By anafonitriaStayed here for 1 night with family to see the rice terraces. The hotel is on the edge of the village half way up the mountain. A taxi can not drop you off there and you have to walk 30 minutes up or 1 hour down from the car park to get there. We hired sherpa's to carry our bags! Amazing location with great views of the terraces. Slightly noisy as in the middle of the village but ok. Most staff speak limited English but did try to help. Our room was supposed to have a balcony but instead had more of an open patio at the front door to the room. The only window the rom had was a very small one over looking a path. The room has no wardrobe and very little space for suitcases. Breakfast was ok. Westernish! An enjoyable stay. Wish I had done more research into the location of the room but enjoyed the walk in the end! Cleanut not too welcoming environment. Not sure I would stay here again or recommend to western families. Also very expensive for the room you get.

Reviewed By RudbeckiusExtraordinary world class view. Comfortable Chinese (also perfect for fit Westerners). Bring some warm clothes and cash. It takes about 40 minutes to climb up to the Inn. Good restaurant and local handicraft (Zhuang minority) shopping. Rest here to the sound of spring water and birds. Try the mountain chicken and mountain frog in the restaurant.

Reviewed By 妖刀姬空山新雨后，天气晚来秋 这本是描写秋日天气舒爽的诗句，但是我此时词穷，只能做此感受。今年的清明连着壮族传统的三月三，趁着假期，来到这里走一走，田地里还没有生出许多新绿，我这颗欢呼雀跃的心却着急的不得了。 龙胜的梯田，一直被作为奇迹一样被媒体传播，一张张夕阳落日梯田人影的明信片，吸引我一定要来这土地上亲自看一看。 第一次选择住客栈。这里大多都是本地经营的客栈，没有像很多旅游景区一样酒店泛滥，本地人的建筑审美和生活习惯都在客栈有所映射。木质结构的房子，静静地坐在窗前，还会闻到淡淡的木头香气。放眼出去，就可以直接看到一圈圈挂在山边的梯田，像做蛋糕的巧克力奶油一样，被刀子抹的整整齐齐油光水亮，偶尔几个地方还撒上了绿色的抹茶粉。确实舒心。想来如果再晚一段时间，这一圈圈巧克力蛋糕，肯定是抹茶蛋糕了，哈哈。 出行入住，我对山里的房间期望并不高，但这家客栈似乎满足了我所有的要求，基本的硬件设施是完全不逊色于国内某些连锁快捷酒店。更让人欣喜的是别致的感受和随意像朋友式的服务，真的会让人完全的放松下来，会觉得就这样，一把躺椅，坐在阳台，披上毛毯，就伴着小雨淅淅沥沥睡上一觉，真不错。 关于美食，说实话，应该是我个人口味的问题，不是很喜欢这里的饭菜。反正广西这片土地，你走到哪里，都会有米粉，做法不同口味不同，但是对于米粉吃多的人，我真的已经爱不起来了。这里有一种特色的竹筒鸡，不是很粗的那种竹筒，比较细，鸡肉也不是很多，里面还有一点米饭，喜欢的可以尝试一下。山野美食，不要期望太高，当零食尝尝调剂一下蛮好的。 好了，今天就先写这么多，没想起来的，就让它留在这寨子里吧。安逸的行程结束了，我要去城里好好搬砖了！！！

Our classical delicious foods is the best expericence store of “the bite of Longji”.we tried to provide best journey service for each tourist, to let you enjoy your unforgetable trip here.Our inn is Chinese fir stilted building, the main building is four storeys high, independent loft is two storeys high, own 20 rooms. We also have bus from Guilin railway station to Dazhai parking. and we provide charter service, if need, please make advance reservation.
Great views and location
Reviewed By Stephen TGreat location with fabulous views. I stayed in 302. Good base for hiking. English spoken. Only takes cash, no credit cards. Will help arrange minibus to and from Guilin. I stayed 2 days and 1 night, could have happily spent another day. Value for money. Order dinner in advance as many dishes, including bamboo chicken, will not otherwise be available. Walls are a bit thin but hardly a disco crowd!
