Set in a valley whose original name meant "end of the habitable world," this resort town in the lower Himalayas blossoms in summer and during its famous Dussehra festival in October. Don't miss the Raghunath Temple, built in 1660 in honor of the valley's patron deity, Lord Ram. Less than two miles away, a 90-minute climb to the Jagannathi Devi Temple provides a panoramic view of the alpine area. The town is also known for its locally woven wool shawls, blankets and slippers.

Lately been to Manali had booked trip through terrible tour company ' Global Sensation Tours & Travels based in Shimla ' . It was hopeless , nightmare experience with this tour company and I'll post reveiw seperately for it . Regarding Manali Queen Hotel - It's an average hotel with nice location and view of snow capped mountains . However , Hygiene is big concern at this hotel as experienced in recent travel . Super deluxe room which was booked for us was spacious but towel & blanket provided was untidy , Water leakage issue from washbasin ,Bathroom Wall ceiling broken and very dim light in the room & bathroom. Food was average and the sitting area was lousy , Table cloth remained untidy with food strains which was biggest turn off . There is no filter water available. Lobby lights are switched off in the night after 10 PM , It's complete dark . Only good thing about this hotel was Staff , They were very cooperative and friendly no doubt but overall stay wasn't worth it specially for family .

47 Hill is a charming, comfortable property, situated in Bajaura, 2.5 Km from Bhuntar and 13 Km towards south from Kullu Manali, around 150 mtr from NH03. Having a hill view which adds extra credit to choose rooms. The rooms are brightly lit, making the stay even more pleasant and cosy. The rooms are well suited for all seasons with geysers and room heaters during the extremely cold winters of Kullu. Also, enjoy the king sized bedrooms for the comfort of family visitors. The property is well secured with CCTV monitoring systems 47 Hill located near many famous landmarks like Basheshwar Mahadev Temple, Triyugi Narayan Temple and Bijli Mahadev Temple, Jia, Kullu.
First things first.... This is NOT a hotel... its a home-stay.... I had prebooked and was put in a room which is not bigger than a king size bed... We were the only guest in the entire 4 storied building and when i requested for the room heater( it was freezing cold in jan end).. they politely informed all the heaters in the hotel are not working !!??#@*?!!? It doesnt even have a restaurant .. but if u order well in advance they get u the food from a nearby dhaba which was terrible.... The only saving grace is the balcony ... It gives u amazing views and one could spend the entire day just sitting there in a couch and gazing at the distant mountains...

10 room property on Tirthan River at Gushaini, Kullu (HP). All rooms facing Tirthan River, Rooftop Restaurant serves delicious food. Rooms are neat with spacious toilets and bath. Perfect for families and solo travelers.
Sun n Sky is one of those properties which you will immediately find available when other homestays/hotels are sold out. We booked this place as a backup option, since we were driving overnight to Gushaini, and then continuing to the Rolla camp inside the great Himalayan national park. The place is easy to reach by bus / car , and then it becomes convenient to coordinate with anyone from here. Our trek to Rolla campus started alongside the border of the hotel compound. We parked our car on a road 100m away. Even though the location is prime, the hotel is not situated on the river bank nor is the view appealing. One can book here on a need basis! Courteous owner/staff.

We had to stay in the hotel for a night due to cancellation of our trip to Manali. The hotel did not have any facilities like tea, restaurant or water even. We were told the hotel didn’t have a kitchen and for anything we had to go out and walk for about half a mile. No bills were provided and no attendant was in the hotel. We will not recommend the hotel to any visitors.

In the midst of tall trees & high above the ground is Sonaugi situated. Joy & peace are going to hit you hard right after you reach this place. Soaked in luxury of beautiful flowers & lush greenery, this place is a treat for the eyes. Staff is courteous & very well behaved. Food was amazing, hits the right taste notes. Manager Naresh & staff Monu are some of the nicest hotel staff I have seen.

A home away from home in the center of Kullu but away from the hustle and bustle with delicious homemade food and a terrific view.
We booked Hotel Vikrant for 2 nights as this was near to Mall road but our stay at Vikrant started as a horrible movie. We reached there by 11 in night and below is the summary of my experience 1. TV was out of order 2. Geyser was not working - As hotel owner used to operate the on and off time of Geyser 3. Dirty washroom - There was no jet in pot. Water was being leaked from flush.. there was lots of dirt was pasted on the floor of washroom.. 4. Bed was having empty spaces between the board and its legs. Every-time we tried seating, laying down on bed. It was making a noise and we felt now bed will broke down and we will on laying on the floor. 5. As per the guideline sheet pasted on Door, Drugs and Drinking was not allowed but the owner was fully overloaded with drugs.. 6. he himself was indulged in abusing and using dirty language with people there in hotel. When we went to Hotel owner complaining about the room and washroom, Instead of fixing the issues or resolving problems, he backed his hotel arrogantly by saying "This is your opinion, If you want to stay, you can stay or else you can leave"... It was one of the pathetic experience I ever had with any hotel till now. I will not suggest anyone to be there specially when being with family. It is not safe place at all... Due to all of this we left hotel the next day even without thinking about booking made for 2 days.. It seemed at my stay with hotel the hotel owner uses this hotel for wrong things.. So please be very very careful when checking in such pathetic hotels...
