Special mention about food, amazing South Indian food cooked by Rani will be worth trying. Worth a visit for couple of days.

I don't have even a single negative attribute I saw in this resort. Can blindly book here and enjoy a very relaxing stay completely away from the hustle bustle.

Fraud and fooled-please avoid
Reviewed By Paridhi24Completely un managed and unattended. We booked rooms well in advance, but the so called manager denied the availability of the rooms citing meaningless reasons- even the rooms lacked amenities. It is not like shown in photographs. It is not safe for family and girls, as people openly drink and smoke in the open gathering area(so called bon fire). The owners stay far off. They picked up the calls initially, but talked in a very insulting and derogatory manner. They switched off their phones while the manager ran away from the location without helping us late in the night. The location is also very remote. Please look for better options nearby. There are others much better at same price.

Reviewed By roshpadThe place cant be exactly called a resort in the 1st place,it is more like a hotel. The entrance is very steep which is not vehicle friendly. we took an elite suite. The room was really spacious and well furnished with a really huge bathroom,which appeared to be worth much more than the amount paid..the view thro the balcony was also nice.. But there was leakage problem in the bathroom leaving it always wet...so we had to always keep the valves closed...there was also no hair dryer available...the water supply also stopped and was very scanty in between...proper action was not taken regarding these....but the cleaning staff were very polite and they were quick in providing toiletries etc whenever needed ...the only problem with this place is their poor maintenance and unavailability of drinking water within the place. Their dining is also not vegetarian friendly..

Amazing view and it's like we are in heaven
Reviewed By Ullas PThis place definitely needs more hype and marketing. The location and view is so beautiful. You don't even feel like stepping out. The view from the windows and balcony is just out of this world. It's like you are above heaven. Reaching here is a trick if you are not driving yourself. We took a bus to Coonor and then changed to a local bus for 40min to reach this place. And from the main road it's around 5.5 kms and auto/taxi is available ( 300 bucks though). But it's totally worth it. Can't believe had not found this place earlier. It just has 5 rooms 2 with balcony and 3 basic rooms. There is a common family room with dining table and sofa if u wanna chill. Food is required to be pre-ordered a couple of hours before the lunch or dinner time. But they prepare it well and it was really tasty. We dried biryani and dosa and chicken curry. For such a remote location getting this is good. As its in the middle of a village and no shops or any conveyance. The owner drives to town and gets whatever we need to prepare food. It was really peaceful. And really rejuvenating staying here. For any sightseeing to nearby places like kodanadu view point and Catherine falls . The owner will arrange a taxi if required. Just loved the location of this place. And even the common dining area is beautiful like an elevated bamboo area with glass windows with the views again.. Check out the pictures to know how it looks. Included kodanadu view point pic as well which is like 30min from the resort.

an interesting stay
Reviewed By Patty MWe arrived at night to Kotagiri, looking for a place to stay without reserving a place in advance. The lights in the neighborhood of Heavenly Stay were out, but the manager still came to greet us and suggested that we come back later. When we did, the lights were on and we could see that it was a nice, well kept budget accommodation. While the shower was bucket style only, the bed was clean and comfortable! The best part about staying here was a kind neighborhood man who came by in the morning to offer freshly made masala chai for those who wanted (for a very modest price). The owner even called us to make sure that everything was going smoothly (which it was)!

Decent Stay
Reviewed By deepakraodLocated at a picturesque place, road to reach this location is just too good. Hotel building has become old and no visible maintenance has been done for ages. Rooms has bad odour due to lack of maintenance, none of lights working except 1 in each room. Hot water is served 24 hours, delux rooms are spacious enough, few charging points are not working. Room service was good, bhaskar was really helpful. Overall a decent stay considering thr location.
