Cleanliness is great. Staffs are polite & helpful. Front desk should be more active to arrange tours & taxis for tourists.

Reviewed By MadhurraoWe stayed for one night at this place. It is near the city centre with a lot of hustle/bustle. the best part of the hotel for us was the rooftop restaurant/breakfast area. Overall a good place if one wants to stay for 1 or 2 nights.

Reviewed By Kotnis1976I had visited for 4 days in April 2022 to Gangtok with my family. We had booked this hotel prior to our reaching there. I was glittery before reaching there as I am not someone who frets over rooms but I need clean rooms and specially bathrooms clean with hot water. I was pleasantly surprised as they just don't have huge good rooms but neat , clean and bathrooms with hot water. The hotel is well placed on the main road where you will reach MG road in 5 mins( downhill) and share taxi stand in 3 mins. The hotel staff is very co operative and don't mind running up and down to get your requests done. Mr. Shiv Sinha , one of their staff is very very efficient and however late or early he is there to do your chores. Just one thing- the hotels there don't have lifts, so when you walk up hill after shopping take a break at the reception to get your breath back and then proceed to your room from the heritage wooden stairs. The food is excellent with good quantity. Take a break and visit gangtok to stay at TARAYANA and walk around and visit places.

If you want to experience the silent language of nature, Burpeepal is the place. Bird watching, taking walks in and around the property,or simply sitting in the lawn can be so mesmerizing! One seems to be one with nature in this property! What makes this stay memorabe are the owners, Mr and Mrs Pradhan! The place is wonderfully curated with refined taste, and has clearly taken so much thought of the owners!Their freindly nature makes this place even more attractive! Dr Mrs Pradhan didnt have to think twice before lending her Binoculars to me! During our stay there , I enjoyed the heavy showers from the balcony and watched the mountains get drenched .The staff are friendly and cooperative. The food is homely and served well. What adds extra dimension to this property are the three dogs, Dora, Jolly and Bhalu. Leaving them behind really makes one feel so sad! I believe , I will visit this property soon!

Rooms are big and well furnished, clean. Geyser in washroom for hot water. Tea maker in room. Breakfast served hot with few options is satisfactory. Behaviour of the hotel staff and pantry staff are very pleasing Lift is not there, thus for senior citizens please request room in the reception floor. Due to teh location vehicle movement sound late at night or early morning may disturb your sleep. You may try this hotel if on budget travel

Starting from checking in (reception )room service, dine in service ,baggage assistance everything is so very well managed. Rooms are so comfortable, cozy and clean. All the food that I tried is so delicious and worth paying for. Room service food was served fresh and hot. Kudos to all the staff to put in all the efforts together. Would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff, especially Mr.Robin singh ,sahil ,imran Ali, Pratikcha chettri,Sunita , Dinesh and Mr.Khawas, who went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. His pleasant demeanor and the warm and welcoming smile made him a delight to interact with. And for their great hospitality. All the staff is very polite and helpful.
