Great Experience !!! Great Place !!!

I spent 2 nights in Amanites Guesthouse in lovely Dimitsana. During my one week travel across Peloponnese with a Motorcycle. Harris and Harrah was great and gave me a very friendly atmosphere and super service. From my arrival and the lovely welcome Greek coffee, continuing with the high quality room with a great view of the mountains and the village, and following with their excellent Breakfast. Harris gave me a lot of tips about where to go in the Arcadia mountains and Harra help me so much with arranging for me all required issues for a Covid Test in Tripoli. I had also the privilege to meet the famous Big Harris (Harrah's Father). Harris and Harrah Efcahristo poli !!! Big Hug to both of you. You are very very nice persons. To all of you I will warmly recommend - Don't miss this place !!! Go there !!! Ziv V.

Excellent Hospitality in a beautiful village

Reviewed By C5721LXmichaelh

Due to a scheduling issue over our other hotel our tour operator booked us in here. We’d never heard of Dimitsana before and it was our first night of our tour so we’d no idea what it was like. Well! If you’re coming to the Peleponnese definitely make a stop in Dimitsana and if you fancy staying on (and you will) definitely stay here! Our room was located in a stone tower with panoramic views on three sides of this beautiful village. It was clean, well presented with a very comfortable bed. Shower was good with decent water pressure, nice soaps and shampoos etc. Breakfast was MASSIVE! And it just kept coming! Simply the best breakfast we’ve had on our stay and this includes 4 star boutique hotels in Athens. Fresh cakes and breads from the village bakery, literally any cooked food you could ask for set us up for a tough days hike and then some! Simply excellent. Special mention has to be reserved for our lovely host who, despite our lack of Greek, always seemed in great spirits, friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly recommended!?

absolutely wonderful place to stay with the best hosts. Stefanos sent us really clear instructions for where to park and then met us and carried our bags up the steps. The room was wonderful, big and spacious, loads of heating and also a wood fire which we really enjoyed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. breakfast was superb.

Disgusting hotel

Reviewed By gentbrugg

One of the most disgusting hotels in my quarter of century of active travel. Located at a distance from the Dimitsana in a beautiful place before the water museum. However, it is lowland, and in early June it was 13 degrees and even lower at night. In the room we had to be dressed. On appeal to the administration of the hotel to turn on the heating, which, incidentally, was included in the booking from the Booking.com, they refused - in summer  they do not turn on the heating. Also added: "You are from Russia and  must have a habit to cold weather". Internet in the second building (room 24) actually was absent, wifi worked  for a minute, not more, then "flew out"  and somehow kept only outside - on the balcony, where, again, it was very cold. The room was not very clean, there was some caterpillar or beetle in the bathroom! The crown of all was the attitude of the staff, which I have already described above. In addition to all the English of the woman receptionist was very poor, and her pronunciation was generally barbaric - a kind of "guif" instead of "with".

Beautiful small hotel near Dimitsana

Reviewed By TStefanos

Kaloneri Rooms is a great choice value-for-money small hotel for your stay near Dimitsana, Stemnitsa and Lagkadia. Our room (out of 6 total) was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The bed was large and the mattress great. The view out of the window is the mountain and it's all you need. Plus there is coffee/tea if you fancy making some. As for the location, it is just 5-10 minutes away from Dimitsana or Lagkadia and away from all the fuss. Breakfast is served at Lagkadia and you shouldn't miss it (delicious tyropita!) The owner is very helpful and friendly and will assist you with anything you may need. On the downside, the bathroom is inexplicably small (poor design). The shower is OK but the rest area is small. However it is manageable.

Family atmosphere

It was a truly amazing experience. Hospitality at it’s best. Takis and George (father and son), managed to comfort us from the first moment like it was our home. Advised us about the place and even prepared themselves our variable breakfast in the morning, accompanied us with stories about the historical region and even gave us their own CAR without hesitation when ours broke. In Ancient Greece, because of “Xenios Zeus” (Guest Zeus) people took hospitality very seriously! This guesthouse couldn’t be represented with a better name than XENIOS. Thank you taki and George, see you soon

Room was nice. Good beds. Very nice bathroom. There was no airco (not really nessecary). Beautiful view of of the balcony in one of the rooms. Breakfast was very nice, fresh and delicious. Staff was not super friendly/inviting, but that was understandable because there were a lot of fires.

Terrible host. He tried to deceive us. He charged us more than we have already agreed when booking the rooms. The rooms were ok, nothing special, not even for the price. Breakfast was ok, however while taking our breakfast the host was all the time with us intervening in our conversations. In general we are not going back.

Tefthis Hotel

Warm and cozy with amazing views

Reviewed By Kat D

We loved our stay at Tefthis Hotel. Perched on the edge of the gorge, our room had amazing views over the gorge and mountains. The room was clean and Cosy and the shower was hot, perfect for washing after our big 26km run through the Lousios Gorge. The lobby was so inviting with a fireplace and we enjoyed a welcome drink of housemade cherry liquor while chatting with the hotel manager. It has been the highlight of our trip to Greece so far.
