What a lovely little find this hotel is. Right opposite the Great Orme, and the pier, a minutes walk to the prom one way and a minutes walk to the main street the other way. We were in room 12 on the third floor, so I knew there would be a lot of steps, there are chairs on each landing if you need a rest!! Our room was just right for our needs, although small and cosy there's plenty of storage space. Breakfast is lovely and you can pick what you want from a list, there is also a bar you can have your night cap in. I would recommend a stay The Clovelly we will be returning the hosts Nic and Eddie can't do enough for you and make you feel very welcome. We managed to get a free parking space at the back.

Lunch

Me and my partner both came in and ordered the Stake and Ale pie, and it was honestly the nicest pie I’ve eaten! A generous piece of pie with plenty big pieces of steak inside. David was very friendly and another woman that served us, I did not catch her name unfortunately. A pint of MPA went down nicely! Would love to come again.

Great place for a golf trip

Reviewed By BickerdykeSolihull

I booked 8 rooms for a golf trip to North Wales. Two members of the group had to drop out at the last minute due to Covid and the hotel was very flexible about refunding room costs. The hotel itself is excellent. Good sized rooms, good food and beers and excellent service. It is on a main road, so there can be traffic noise in some rooms

Lovely stay

Reviewed By EmilyTravels-2876

Stayed here for 3 nights with my mum to celebrate her birthday as Llandudno is a favourite of ours. We stayed here back in 2019 when it was The Sunnyside and really enjoyed it so thought we'd come again. The changes they have made to the restaurant and bar area are great, looks so much better now and just more professional! We loved having a quiet drink in the bar at night time, as it was just so peaceful and chilled out. Couldn't fault the staff, they were all very friendly and helpful, especially Merfyn, who went above and beyond for us! Highly recommended The Post House, and we will be staying here again when we visit Llandudno.

The owners themselves are really friendly and accommodating. The bar and breakfast room are inside the old chapel and it is just stunning . Definitely will be staying again and it’s the only place I’d stay when visiting North Wales .
