Reviewed By HarishutkarshVisited for 2 days vacations with family. Rooms are well maintained and spacious. Only problem is they don't have room service we have to visit the restaurant in the ground floor for food.. Staff is good and they helped us to plan our trip.

Reviewed By ashini31We stayed for 2 nights at this homestay. We had an amazing experience at the property. The property is really very charming and serene. Our room overlooked the coffee plantations and it was very peaceful. Mr. Samanvit (owner) is a super host and makes sure that all his guests are comfortable. We had a last minute request for lunch for 10 folks and he made sure we all were well looked after and well fed too. The food is just yummmmm…. Mr. Ravi (care-taker) is a one man army. He looks after the guests and goes out of his way to make sure that the guests are comfortable. Amazing stay, much recommended!

Food was uniformly good, and the service in the restaurant was admirable - Mr Vasanth in particular stood out for his caring attitude. The entire staff, from the Reception to Housekeeping to Catering, are friendly and helpful. The linen and other room related provisions are on par with any other hotel anywhere else. One small thing: the tea kettles - so thoughtfully provided with tea and coffee bags, milk etc - could be of better quality - especially the kettle lids! I would happily go back to this hotel on my next visit, and recommend it to my friends as well.

All well balanced, would thank the homestay team for giving a wonderful experience. I would suggest Back to Nest is the finest of all homestay in Chikmagalur and do stay here for the authentic experience.

We had cockroaches, lizards, spiders inside the room. So definitely no regular pest control happening. When complained next day about it, they offered to change room, but we didn't think it was good idea as other rooms also might be having same issue. The staff mentioned they will clean the room properly, but next day also we saw cockroaches and lizard. The spiders were removed. Linen was changed daily. They did nice decoration for our anniversary on a short notice (photo added) Swimming Pool - very well maintained Location - away from all major attractions, so consider more days if you decide to stay here Restaurant - good south Indian dishes. Breakfast spread was very good. Avoid North Indian dishes, we ordered one and it wasn't good. Staff is very good and always smiling. Quantity of dishes is also good. Suggestions - 1. Pest control asap 2. More lights along the pathway connecting reception area to rooms

Reviewed By dros06We stayed for 2 days at Siderbhan Estate with my family. The sprawling estate is a must visit for anyone who likes adventure or if someone just want to chill out and have some quite time. Surrounded by lush green hills of Western Ghats, the estate has a huge coffee plantation, a stream and a small waterfall. You get a tour of the estate and you can get into the waterfall and enjoy the freshness of cool and clean flowing water. If one wants to just relax, the main bungalow has big common hall and a dining area. Various indoor games options are available as well. The food provided was on time and delicious. At night one can enjoy the warmth of the camp fire. The host Ryan and his staff are very friendly and responsive. Since only 3 rooms are available on hire in the main bungalow, there was enough privacy and if one wants they can interact with other guests as well. On our request the staff arranged us various trips to the scenic locations in Chickmagalur. My kids had a wonderful time too since they enjoyed the various facilities at the homestay. I would surely visit this place again if I am in Chikmagalur.

Peaceful stay amidst nature
Reviewed By KunalPanjaThe host Nithin Gowda & his family were exceedingly hospitable & warm. The food, cooked by his mother/wife, was delicious. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. We stayed on first floor of the main house and not the cottages.We had 2 kids & they thoroughly enjoyed themlves playing with the host's dog(Lexa) & running around the vast property. We were very well taken care of & the Gowda family lives the Indian tradition of " Atithi Devo Bhava". Inspite of Pooja in their home they arranged amazing non veg food for us including bonfire and bbq. We had a relaxing weekend amidst the greenery and rainy weather of western ghats.Will visit regularly.
