Pleasant place near the sea
Reviewed By Tish EWe stayed at the B&B for only one night but everything was just right! The room was large with everything you could want the bathroom small but hooks for towels and room for washbags etc. Lovely garden and the Signora was delightful, she recommended restaurants and bars for the evening, Breakfast was good but a little cramped as she was full, homemade cakes and she catered well for one of our party who is gluten free.

Reviewed By MkemullinsAn absolutely fabulous place owned and operated by fantastic folks. Accommodating doesn’t begin to describe the service and hospitality of this place. I felt relaxed and welcome from the very first moment. Tranquil gardens to enjoy your favorite book as well as a variety of books to choose from in the little library. I got a chance to stay in two rooms during my extended stay and both were great. I’d suggest the “Terrace” room though. Mainly because it’s on the 3rd floor and has a great view of the garden and the mountains surrounding Carrara. Margherita was an absolute angel with lots of helpful information on the area and suggestions for tours available.

Reviewed By wouterh812I spent a total of three nights here while exploring this part of Italy by bike. I had my reservations about booking at first, because I’m used to seeking accommodation in youth hostels, but if the money is not an issue I am convinced this place will give you bang for your buck and then some. Let me first talk about the room I stayed in itself. This was very comfortable; a large and comfy bed, comfy chairs, a bathtub, bathrobes, hairdryer, airconditioning, and television are all provided in the room itself. The remotes were wrapped in plastic to make it extra clean and corona-safe, which came on top of the already impressive cleanliness in the rest of the room. Additionally , I loved having a view of the surrounding mountains from my window. Other than the room itself, this B&B provides a kitchen/dining room you can use (with complementary fruits/snacks/bread/drinks), and a garage in case you cone by car or bike or motorcycle (or heck, even your skateboard could go there if you just ask for it). The location is wonderfully central in the old town of Carrara, not even a minute’s walk away from the beautiful Piazza Alberica one way, and an Esselunga supermarket the other. It’s not fat towards the surrounding mountains and marble quarries. I suppose for tourists who visit this region in the summer just for the beaches, options that are closer to the beaches are also available, but for people looking for a calm and beautiful private place to relax, this is a great option. Lastly I should give my compliments to the host, who has been friendly, hospitable, helpful, attentive, easy to reach and communicate with, and as a bonus quite good at speaking english. I will remember this place fondly, partially thanks to him.

First of all, it’s located 5 mom from the beach and many restaurants from which you can choose the place is super clean and quiet. The room is fully equipped with all you need (hairdryer, minibar, AC, soaps)and the bed is super comfy. In the morning for your breakfast, you can choose from a variety of fresh pastries, ham, cheese and many more things. Coffe is super tasty and you can also have a choice of non-dairy milk if you’re intolerant. It’s a family run business so the atmosphere is just so welcoming and relaxing, they have been amazing with us, helping with suggestions of places where to eat and where to rent beach beds. Honestly, this is the best place you could go in Marina di Carrara without a doubt! Highly recommend it!

Reviewed By mihaictripA modest hotel but with really nice owners that are really going above and beyond to make your time there nice and feel at home. The rooms are well cleaned and spacious enough. The food is good and the prices are right. I would recommend this hotel for the families with kids that come to Carara for the sea and the sun.

Parcheggio , giardino , il bb è immerso nel verde della collina e comunque vicino al centro. Camere belle e accoglienti , modernamente arredate . Pulizia. Colazione adeguata. È gestito dal proprietario che poi ci ha accompagnato in una bellissima visita alle cave di marmo a bordo dei loro fuoristrada ( eravamo 12 persone ),escursione durata tutta la mattina dove ci è stato illustrato sul posto come si estrae e si lavora e si trasporta e si trasportava il marmo fin dall’epoca romana. Bellissima esperienza.

Our B&B is located in a small centre near Carrara, between the Tyrrhenian sea and the marble quarries. From our B&B you can easily reach Lerici, Portovenere, Cinque Terre and Versilia coast. Moreover it is a good starting point to visit and discover the Apuan Alps. Our B&B, housed in a 19th century building, has completely refurbished rooms with private bathrooms. Private parking, garden with a little swimming pool.
