Reviewed By Bernd FWir wurden hier nett empfangen. Das Zimmer an sich war relativ groß und gut. Die Betten waren gut wir konnten sehr gut darin liegen. Im Bad hat es aus dem Abfluss etwas unangenehm gerochen. Wir hatten einen Balkon mit zwei Stühlen und einem kleinen Tisch vor dem Zimmer. Das Zimmer und das Bad, sowie die Dusche waren ausreichend groß. Die Dusche hat gut funktioniert. Der Balkon war zu den Nachbar Zimmern und auch um die Hausecke durchgängig und für jedermann zugänglich. Auf dem Balkon um eine Hausecke herum haben wir eine kleine Küchenzeile mit einem Herd einem Kühlschrank und einer Spüle gezeigt bekommen. Diese war für unser Zimmer gedacht. Auch diese war öffentlich für alle zugänglich. Über das Frühstück war ich anfangs sehr bewundert bzw enttäuscht. Ich habe ihr doch während unseres Aufenthaltes gelesen, dass in dem Kleingedruckten von Booking.com mit einem Wort erwähnt war: Die Pension bietet einen Frühstückskorb an. Es war trotzdem nicht das was ich erwartet habe wenn ich Übernachtung mit Frühstück buche. Wir bekamen jeden Morgen eine Scheibe trockenes Weißbrot ein Stück trocken Kuchen und zwei bis drei kleine Gebäckstücke griechischer Spezialität. Diese kleinen griechischen Spezialitäten waren offenbar immer frisch und selbst gebacken und waren sehr lecker. Trotzdem war es ohne jegliche Getränke, ohne Kaffee, ohne Butter, ohne Marmelade, und sonstige Beilagen sehr trocken und dürftig, sodass wir uns Kaffeepulver, welches für den Umständen selbst zubereiten mussten, Milch, Butter, Marmelade und andere Beilagen selbst dazu gekauft haben. Das kostenfreie WLAN war recht stabil und gut. abgesehen von dem Frühstück, dass ich in dieser Form nicht erwartet hätte, war dies eine sehr gute und preisgünstige Unterkunft, die ziemlich zentral auf Lefkada gelegen ist.

Reviewed By FatCat99We stayed for a couple of days in this Hotel which was recommended by other people that visited Vassiliki. The owner that welcomed us didn't speak any English so communication was fairly difficult. The room didn't have a good smell and not much care was put into the cleaning, also one bedsheet was missing. Breakfast was various with both cooked and fresh products, but not very impressive. Given the price, you can surely find something better.

The Villas were very clean and modern , and the hosts (Nikos and his family) very friendly . Everything were great.

Reviewed By 517andrasHorrible experience. After a 18 hours road trip we arrived at Isalos, where we found the most disappointing place to stay. The rooms are dirty and very small, the furniture was rusty with red stains, lingerie was also dirty. All those photos from the internet are fake. This is not a decent place to stay. We had to search for another place to stay. The host did not agree to give us the money back (we paid for 6 nights through booking.com). We wanted to pay 1 night for "disturbing" her, but she did not agree, so she took all our money. This is a lack of respect for your customers, I think you need to respect peoples decision. She said that we came earlier and the room was not ready. That was a big lie, the room was ready, with clean towels folded on the bed and shampoos in the bathroom. So if other people want to go to Lefkada, do not go to Isalos. There are many nice places to stay with a very decent price. We were lucky to find a hotel where they showed us the room before we check in,to see if we like it, and they took the money when we left home. Not like this lady who took the money before we get to that miserable place. After you make a Covid 19 test to enter to Greece, you go to Isalos to catch all the bacteria, because the lady did not clean the rooms since last summer.

All rooms of our hotel are fully equipped with: Private shower/WC with 24 hour hot water, Bathroom, Direct dial phone, Hair Dryer, Refrigerator, Air-conditioning, Internet Service (Free Wi-Fi Access), Private balconies, Safe bo, Soundproof windows. All built according to the standards of the Greek national Tourism Organisation for A' category rooms. The rooms also include spacious closets. Cleaning is on a daily basis.

We were surprised to see that in COVID times there was no provision for the breakfast to be served by members of the staff, as we experienced in other hotels we visited this year. On top of that, there was no disinfectant on the tables and staff did not wear masks as required.

Hera's Garden lies 600m away from the beach of Vassiliki(Ponti) a small village and the best windsurfspot of the island of Lefkada. As the house is located on the western slope of the bay it has an amphitheatrically view on the mountains, the valley and the sea with its windsurfers and sailors. Enjoyable for all the guests as all rooms have a seaview southeast balcony. With its separate location, nice and quiet backyard with hammonks below olive trees, you will find here the perfect place to relax - in a friendly and familiar atmosphere. If you come to Lefkada: come and stay with us.
If we ever visit Lefkada again we are staying here for sure
Reviewed By Curious05175788283Everything was perfect. The room was always in mint condition. Fully equipped with everything we asked, and more. The view was superb and that applies to all rooms in the establishment. Hera’s Garden is very close to the center of Vasiliki (provided that you are not on foot) which is an amazing place to stay in Lefkada. (Best we ‘ve seen at least). Entrance is right by the road that leads to the best beaches of the island. Most of the iconic beaches are less than 30 minutes away. Available parking next to the rooms. The owner is a great and very lively guy with spot on suggestions about food and sights on the island. We were very lucky to follow his suggestions and really found amazing vistas and tasty food to fill our souls and bellies! :) Worth every penny, should definitely visit!
