Reviewed By J9848QAdeborahaThis is our first time visiting Rhodes and we really wanted it to be a special, memorable experience as so many holiday makers would after a couple of years being unable to go abroad. We do use Trip Advisor as a guide when booking holidays and hotels, this occasion was no exception. Atrium Palace already has almost 5000, 5 star reviews - almost too good to be true but ratings like that, shouldn't dismissed and we're so glad we bit the bullet and booked our holiday here. This is another 5 star review and also the first I've ever written for a holiday. The hotel complex is stunning. The buildings are immaculate. Grandeur is definitely the vibe they are going for and they have completely nailed it. The grounds are beautiful - so much greener than we expected. A tremendous selection of trees, shrubs and flowers are planted in every available space and add to the the wow factor of the complex. Both the buildings and grounds are cared for to the highest standards. Staff are continually, yet unobtrusively, going about their business making sure the surroundings are kept in pristine condition. The food is wonderful too - there are several restaurants on site to choose from. The main restaurant is buffet style but the selection of food ensures that there is something for everyone. The quality of the food is exceptional and as you would expect, the fresh fruit and vegetables are full of flavour - I'm sure that has something to do with the 300 days of sunshine Rhodes is gifted with each year. We have a garden view room (439) which also, and was a surprise to us, has a small pool just outside the patio doors. This is not a swim up room, which are also available, therefore was completely unexpected so another little bonus for us. Our room has been kept immaculate throughout our stay - the house keepers work tirelessly and always greet guests with a smile. It is so hard to pick out individual staff, there are so many who have made our stay special and all the more enjoyable however, the few who we seem to touch base with most days and have been particularly attentive and welcoming are Rena, Mariana and Francesca.... no doubt, by the end of our stay, we'll have learned a few more names and need to add to our list and edit the review. Of course, there are so many behind the scenes, the chefs and groundsmen & women who we can't name unfortunately but their contribution to the overall impact of this hotel's stature cannot be overlooked. This truly exceptional facility would not receive such ratings if the entire team were not working so hard behind the scenes and ensuring the high standards are maintained across the board. I'm sure the management are already aware of this but hope this review reinforces that fact. Thank you to all the staff and management - we will be back to finish our site seeing of the island because one week, simply isn't enough.

Wonderful experience for my group of guests

Thanks to the hospitality of the hotel team and especially of the concierge Natasa who took care of activities, dinners in Rhodes city, and other requests, we had a wonderful experience. Both our guests and I as an organizer were 100% satisfied and we look forward to going back. Well done!

The hotel and especially the en-suite are a little bit dated, the indoor swimming pool unfortunately closed and both outdoor pools very cold. Bearing in mind last 2 Covid 19 years, extremely difficult for the tourist industry, the hotel is trying to do the best to compensate all this by an exceptional cleanness, excellent customer service and great entertainment and food. NEFELI at the concierge desk was our angel sorting out ALL our problems and answering questions as soon as we had one. ELENA in the Greek restaurant was so quick serving us, she was almost flying! And all the time with a smile on her face. In fact it’s very difficult to mention everyone helping at the hotel as everybody was very kind and always ready to help. The food was very tasty especially in the Greek and Italian restaurants. The room was spacious with a nice size balcony overlooking the garden. As the sea side was very windy we’ve done the right choice booking the garden facing one. And finely: During our stay my husband celebrated his birthday. We didn’t mention this while checking in so it was a very pleasant surprise for him to receive that day an email and card with birthday wishes from the hotel and a birthday cake (very tasty!) with a bottle of Prosecco in our room! Overall our stay was extremely pleasant and we would strongly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we got there we felt like royalty, drink on arrival, someone helped take our bags to our room, the gentleman gave us some advice on things to do and places to see, we arrived late at night so there was two plates of food left for us in our room. We stayed in a deluxe swim up room with sea view, we were to the right of the hotel we would say the most perfect location. Close the pools, close to the bar, close to reception and close to the restaurants. The room was always kept immaculately clean, the cleaners every day were so lovely and thorough. The bed was the biggest most comfy bed we have ever had. The mini bar was stocked daily with a range of drinks, alcohol and snacks. This was a really nice touch. The swim up pool was fantastic, was nice to chill by the room and sunbathe. The shower in the bedroom was amazing too, really powerful and came with lots of toiletries. The restaurants here were impeccable. We loved the wasabi, the choice of Asian dishes were so good. (Book as soon as you can as it fills fast) The Italian server nicer food than we had when we recently went to Rome. The pizza is stunning. The Greek restaurant was much nicer than we thought it would. The service in all 3 was first class. The food hall by the pool was such a nice touch, you can have burger/wraps/salads/sandwiches/ice cream/crepes and much more. To have this option was really good. We ate in various places every day and we were never let down by any of them. The main food restaurant, you get greeted by two lovely ladies who are always so welcoming and elegantly walk you to your table, the waiters/waitresses were always so polite and helpful. The food was different every night but there was always something you’d like. The choice of meats and salad is really good. The deserts are incredible. It’s spotlessly clean there and nothing was too much for anyone. The pools were incredible. Two massive pools, always choice of sunbeds which is good. I take my hat off to the waiters around the pool, they were always checking to make sure you had something to drink, always asking if you needed anything. They were constantly on the go and so polite through it all. We really loved the guy who was serving the drinks by the pool on the left (by the Italian restaurant) The beach is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and they offer for a charge options of jet skis, boat hire, paddle boarding and various things. We done the jet skis twice and hired a boat to go and see Lindos. Highly recommend both of these. The views we saw when we hired the boat were insane. The nicest views ever. The staff working on the beach were super friendly and welcoming too. The all inclusive cocktails were lush! Normally in all inclusive your drinks are watered down and not very nice but in Mayia they were incredible. We loved the tropical dream cocktail, that was soooo nice!! In the evenings we would sit by the main bar near reception and the waiter who was serving us was sooooo lovely, he was new but was doing a fantastic job. Overall, the staff are incredible. So attentive. So friendly and so welcoming. Every time we saw a waiter, a cleaner or any member of the team they would say hello to us and we loved it. The hotel is out of this world, we could not pick a fault. Normally you go somewhere and there is something you don’t like or something you can pick up on, not here. Everything and I mean everything was incredible. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back.

A very good resort
Reviewed By Vegard_MaldivitisWe stayed for a week during the end of September/ start of October 2022. This is a lovely resort! The layout is very nice, with only low buildings (3 floors, except the main building which might had 4). There are two pools and the resort is also located beach front, with the ocean at your doorsteps. The resort has a nice design overall, and it has a good atmosphere. We had a room in the 1st floor which was overlooking the smaller pool. We were somewhat happy with the room, but nothing more than what you can expect from a 5-star resort either. I would avoid the ground floor rooms if you are looking for privacy. We went for the all inclusive plan as we love to not having to think about the bill when on holiday. That being said; If we went b&b we really would not have spent more, so we were not really saving money on choosing the meal plan. Not all drinks and cocktails are included: Only two types od local draught beer was included, and neither of the G&Ts were. But there were still lots of cocktails to choose from, and the local wines were included (also bottles) and they were actually better than expected. The cocktails were also mostly good. Prices for local draught beer was 5, Corona 6 and weissbeer 7. Most cocktails were between 10-15 EUR (and a few costing more). The fine dining a la carte restaurant is not included either, but the other a la carte and buffet restaurants were. I am not sure we would have chosen the all inclusive plan if we went again, unless more of the beverages were included, as we did also order items that were chargeable, making it less good value for money. Food wise, the buffet restaurant had the best food. We really enjoyed our meals there. The a la carte restaurants could have some better quality. Some dishes were great, but not all of them, and there should either be more choices in the menu, or more rotation on a daily basis. After some days it becomes repetitive and not too much to choose from. The pool bar was also very nice, but it did fill up after dinner with few available seats. There was also a bar at the roof terrace, but few people were using it in the evenings. I guess it was mostly because it was not very cosy. The architecture was very pretty, but there were too many hard surfaces. So adding some plants/ trees and maybe some torches would soften it up, and more people would use it. That way the guests would spread out more for after dinner drinks, and the pool bar would be less crowded. That being said, they now seem to have added a new bar which might have solved the issue. What really stands out in this resort is the staff! The service is simply phenomenal! I would like to especially thank Michalis and Giota at Armira Restaurant and the other Michalis at Royal Blue buffet restaurant. A few improvements and I would rate this resort with 5 stars. We had a lovely holiday at Port Royal, and we would not mind going back at all.

Amazing group of family’s holiday
Reviewed By 930lilianwJust back from a group holiday from Ireland, the best service I’ve received in any hotel, there was a group of 26 people 12 adults and 14 kids,and nothing was too much trouble, food is lovely we tried all the different restaurants, a special shout out to Nikos at the pool bar who looked after us every day, and Stergos the concierge who was the most helpful friendly concierge I’ve ever come across, he helped arrange a surprise engagement for my friend whilst we there, and booked a group meal for all 26 of us that night, also the restaurant manager is extremely helpful and accommodating, If our children didn’t like the food in the booked restaurants that we had, he would go and get them pizza and chips from other restaurants, can’t commend the staff highly enough, down to the friendly receptionists who are also very helpful, sourced me a stroller when my daughter was tired, hands down the friendliest most accommodating hotel I’ve ever been

It was fabulous from the amazing staff (big shout out to Brekenna (beach restaurant) to the food (very very good), drinks (best AI drinks I’ve experienced). First family holiday for 3 years, we were all a bit nervous but all our worries disappeared when we saw the Lindos Princess. What an amazing family hotel, there is something for everyone. The grounds and public areas (including the private beach) were spotless and very well maintained. Our beach front rooms were great, easy walking distance to beach, bar and restaurant. It really was a great holiday from start to finish and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a family holiday. We will DEFINITELY be making a return visit

Leonardo Kolymbia Resort - Rhodes is a 5* family Resort, located in Kolymbia-Rhodes, a beautiful bay 20 minutes from the city centre and 25 minutes from the airport. The area is buzzing during the Summer Season with restaurants and bars on the beach offering plenty of facilities and leisure. The Hotel is just 250 meters away from an amazing sandy bay with crystal clear waters. Consists of 114 rooms offering a range of: family rooms, standard rooms, 2-bedroom suites and swim-up rooms, two restaurants and two bars. Many facilities for adults and children, extensive beautiful landscaped mature gardens and a major outdoor area - amphitheatre for entertainment, and a relaxing environment.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff did everything they could to make sure we had the best time! Massive thanks to Panos the bar/restaurant manager who took me through all the dishes in the restaurant every meal as I have a nut allergy. The food is fantastic and there is a great choice for all tastes! One of the best I have had in a hotel. Romeo is fantastic and made every meal time feel special with his lovely welcome and being so attentive! The hotel itself is absolutely spotless in the rooms and round the pool. You are greeted with a smile from every member of staff - they are all a credit to the hotel. We treated ourself to a massage by Yiannis and wow… easily the best massage I have had in my life! We don’t normally have a massage on holiday but it takes place in a private gazebo outside which made it a really unique experience. Yiannis is a master at what he does and a lovely man, so good we had another at the end of the week. Daniel the animation manager provides the entertainment both during the day and at night, he really goes out his way to include everyone and is very enthusiastic - we had a lot of fun! The external shows that came in were very good too. Credit to Daniel for doing so much and with a smile! The only thing I would say is for families with young children, there’s not as much on for them to do to keep them entertained (there didn’t seem to be a kids club). But for adults and teenagers the hotel is perfect! Will be back!
