Perfect hotel, very clean and professional, top choice during COVID-19
Reviewed By n23mjWe keep coming back to this hotel since it is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. In times of COVID-19 we have not been sure whether we should travel to Italy at all... But in the hotel we feel safer than at home in our local supermarkets! COVID-19 safety measures: 1. Room keys are disinfected before handing them out 2. Everybody wears a mask, all the employees from housekeeping, to the waiters and even the hotel owners 3. Countless spots to disinfect your hands 4. No buffet - the food during lunch and dinner has always been served directly to the table, now the breakfast buffet is also only served by the hotel’s employees 5. Location, location, location: it is literally the last hotel before Gabicce Monte, which means that the beach next to the hotel is not crowded at all and the life on the street is much calmer than in other parts in Gabicce and Cattolica Other than that- as always: the best food you can imagine, a very fair price for the value you get. A lot of passion and a good eye for details on behalf of the entire staff, 100% recommendation - there is no better hotel in the Adriatic coast in our opinion! It is safe to come hear during COVID-19, even with little children

A lovely place to go
Reviewed By Grant MWe were in a right state about choosing a holiday can bear flicking through brochures and the internet. However an Italian friend Max, (who holds pop up restaurants and arranges Italian lifestyle holidays for cyclists etc) extolling the virtues of the Italian life, literally saved us. We were offered several choices of where to go in Italy so we chose Gabicce Mare which is near on the cost not far from San Marino. The hotel was clean throughout run buy fantastic staff. Our room was modest but had all we needed, the bathe big enough for him n her, was cleaned daily. We had a view over the beach, AC and a ceiling fan which was a god send. Breakfast typically continental, Dinner same only with a choice of hot food. We sat at the same table all week next to patio doors to the open air. Meal times were again calm organised no chaos. The Staff were amazing nothing to much trouble. We were sceptical of the look of the area when we got there ie all the sun beds, kids activities etc but it was so well organised, clean, we were so wrong on the first impression. The whole place grew on us and we are going again next year. We hired 2 electric assisted bicycles(delivered to the hotel) for a day and had a mooch round, hired a car (Fiat Panda) dropped to the door with fuel. We went on search to turtles via a train hotel dropped us at the station and collected us ! For a hotel that is not a major 5* hotel it had so much to offer. Max has good connections in Italy and is Italian and used to live in the areas where he arranges the holidays. Max arranged flights, hire car, hotel, transfers, everything I mean everything. I can highly recommend Max he is located in Crowborough East Sussex. If you are stuck with nowhere to go I would most certainly contact Max. [email protected]

Nice little hotel just a street away from the beach
Reviewed By Rutger043Nice hotel located on one of the main streets in Gabicce Mare. just a short 2 minutes walk to the beach. The room was nice and clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel bar is open 24 hours a day and in the morning they serve a nice continental breakfast in the restaurant on the top floor off the building. For €10 you can park you car on a private parking loot on the edge off town. A shuttle service will bring you to your hotel or to the parking lot. Only downside on for us wass that we had to wait for over an hour before the shutle service came to pick us up and drive us back to our car.

Reviewed By Gunilla HStayed in the hotel for four nights. My husband and I in a quiite nice double room and my friend in a awful and depressing single room. We were on a coach trip. Starting with the location: you need a car or bike to be able to go anywhere. Taxi is very expensive for short distances since they charge you from their starting point in Gabicci Mare. The 4 min drive to Gabbici Monte costed us € 15. No shop nearby to buy water , fruits or snacks. Three restaurants in the small marina down the hill. If you have problems walking and climbing stairs, you're stuck in the hotel unless the lift to the beach level is working, which it didn't during our stay. Not easy to access the sea so we stayed in the pool area - which was excellent! And kept immaculate by the service minded pool keeper, who also made sure safety level was high. Rooms: the double room was ok with good sized balcony and lovely view. The noisy air conditioning could not be used at night time. A pity since it was very hot. My friend's single room was so utterly depressing. No balcony. The view was a concrete wall and a car park. The bed was old and very, very uncomfortable. The mattress was replaced twice with no improvement at all. You could feel every spring. No sleep possible. The staff in reception was apart from the lady (the only female) either arrogant or rather useless since few spoke any English. We had dinner twice and the food was good, service prompt. I would say a bit abrupt. No cosy atmosphere at all.

Great location for what ever you want from your holiday
Reviewed By heritage58Just returned from a 5 night stay to attend MotoGP at Misano. Great location for this. Shuttle bus 5 mins away takes you straight to race track for 5 euros. On race day taxi driver offered a great deal to get to track as there were several people at the hotel attending the race & shared the taxi.( 5 euros each ) Nothing was too much trouble for Claudio & his staff & he was happy to liaise with taxi service for us. The room we stayed in was the small economic one. This was very clean .A good choice offered at breakfast & we also ate in the hotel in the evening a couple of times where a 3 course meal is offered at very reasonable price.Easy access to beach. Easy walk to Cattollica if you are wanting a bit more hustle and bustle .Gabbice is much quieter. Lots of varying priced restaurants & lovely ice cream shop almost opposite hotel. If you are looking for a good value hotel with easy access to all amenities then this is it.

Decent hotel on the beach
Reviewed By roamieWe were fortunate to score a very low nightly rate on Booking.com and paid 65€ for a quadruple room. I don't think the hotel is worth more than that. Room was fine with a very decent air conditioner and small size terrace looking out over the water. Breakfast was an extra 8€ per person and definitely not worth it. Had we known about the extra cost we would have skipped breakfast, it was pretty basic and bland.

I enjoyed the big bathroom (most Hotels there have too small bathrooms/showers). I really want to mention the outstanding service of receptionst Elena! She was always helpful and friendly and tried to find solution for every problem!

BAD meals!
Reviewed By joseller2017We been here twice,last year was a very good experience in this hotel.But this year big regrets of choosing all inclusive for the meal,breakfast is very same like last year, but lunch and dinner was terrible,they have this fish polpetta which is pure flour!antipasta is more of fried frozen foods!primo is a waste of pasta!and main course?super low quality of food.Drinks in the refill station refillable wines is a bad idea!not like last year u can have the bottle the if you can finish it you are sure that no headaches when you wake up in the morning!but the one that they have now the refillable wine i end waking in the morning with bad headache.The rooms and hotel are still very good.
