Loved this place, great for kids!

Reviewed By Samphire000

Wonderful experience -- great for toddlers/babies/older kids (perhaps not teenagers unless in a group of others same age). Each hotel is close to the others but has own facilities - pool at Sabine was nice and quiet but hotel a bit further from the 'centre', so next time we'd do Palme that has better pool for kids. Lovely facilities, kids' play area and baby/toddler feeding centre with lunch every day :). Such a great choice for families! Only downsides were it's quite a windy drive over mountains from main airport (think car sick kids..) plus a lot of mosquitos in evenings... definitely take spray if going in summer, I don't know about other months. We would love to return though and highly recommend.

Beautiful resort

Reviewed By katyspeed

My partner and I stayed here for a few days and the resort and views are spectacular. The staff are friendly and it's well managed and clean The only thing that let's this place down is the food, unfortunately this is not in line with rest of the hotel. The cooked breakfast is OK but way over cooked and rubbery but the dinner is disappointing not much choice and tasteless even the pasta was chewy and hard. I would recommend going here without all inclusive and enjoy local restaurants instead.

Since it was the location of our wedding we were there different times, for dinner or lunch or just to arrange all the details. Fabiola is super! She is very nice, polite and she will help you fulfilling all your dreams and ideas..she will do even more than asked, becuase she is super! The food is delicious and the breakfast can match all your salty and sweet tastes. We have stayed in the romantic room, which was very big and comfortable! You will have a big shower, but the real plus is the Jacuzzi in front of your bed!!!! We have tried also room service for breakfast: they are very polite and you will have so many varieties of food that you won't regret not to have gone down to the central hall! last, but not least: should we talk about the view??! Just go there and you will be amazed!

Really good value and a good secluded little hidden gem

Reviewed By Jersey2871

Stayed here for one night as we toured around Sardinia. I wondered what we would get for the low price but it certainly exceeded expectations. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Location wise it is very secluded but perfect for us as we just wanted to swim, relax and sunbathe. We walked 5 mins round the corner and found some other stunning beaches. Accommodation wise, it’s clean and functional and good value. The food was pretty good too. All in all we have nothing to complain about and would return. One thing to point out is the transport, it’s €15 euro in a taxi from Santa Teressa - buses are pretty infrequent before 16th June.

Very disappointing and so isolated! No public transport available nowhere to walk and 48 euros each way to nearest town. The hotel has obvious staff issues they were very unprofessional with attitude and poor English language.. The restaurant experience was always very unpleasant and hectic,, after having queued for the usual 15 minutes we often found no plates cups and even the poor quality limited choice of food had ran out by the time you arrive at the counter where one girl would be serving up for you.. Evening entertainment was lousy may suit 8 year olds. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT

The beach was amazing

Reviewed By Alicareviews

My family and I bought a trip to Sardinia in this hotel in August 2021 for 8 days. The rooms were just basic rooms, with everyday room cleaning, what was benefit. The food was average, you could choose from many options, but the taste was nothing special. Our room was quiet far from see, but here was a train picking up people at the stops I think that every 15 minutes what was nice. The beach was amazing, a lot of seats and the water was so clean. There was program for hotel guests at the beach, such as dancing in the sea, once a day you coud rent a kayak for half an hour what was fun. There was also program for guest in the evening, but it was so loud and it lasts until 1:00-2:00 a.m. so with easy sleep you couldn't fall asleep. There was almost no signal because the resort is in national park. But it is nice for few days switch off and enjoy the time without mobile phone. Anyways the sea was so nice that it saved all deficiencies.

Too expensive for what it is

Reviewed By KatrinGeneva

I went here with my two sons (7, 10 years) in August '21 for 5 nights. Though we overall did enjoy our time, I would not recommend this hotel, at least not to international visitors. I would have given one more star if we didn't have such a bad experience when checking out. The overall price for this 'soft all inclusive' with a 5 nights stay in a relative small double with extra bed (called 'comfort double') has been more than EUR 1,700. With the 'soft all inclusive' formula, I was ready to pay extra for drinks, ice-cream and sweets that we had at the bar when checking out. What I wasn't expecting though was another bill of EUR 120,- for 'animation & club'. We could not participate into any of the animation/kid's club as it was all only in Italian language and hardly anyone of the staff spoke English, French, or German (except for reception and one of the animators) . Apart from whether participating or not, it has been the first time ever that 'animation' had to be paid extra for. After discussing with the manager and explaining to her that we did not even understand any of the animation attempts and hence couldn't participate, she said that this extra fee also has to be paid for the use of the pool, which was again a big surprise. I previously enjoyed much nicer and bigger pools without paying any extra fee for them, including in much cheaper hotels. Having said so, now the pros: - the hotel and its bungalows are build into a nice landscape with beatiful plants and a rnice view, overall the grounds are inviting and relatively close to the beach - the quality of food has been good overall at dinner and lunch, even if not too much choice (very nice anti-pasti buffet and a choice of pasta every day, but as a main 'only' one meat, one fish, and one veggie side) - most of the staff has been friendly, particularly the cleaning lady and animation team, even if communicating wasn't easy without us speaking italian - the capucchino at the bar was REALLY good, making up for some of the drawbacks and the cons: - not really suitable for international guests, apart from not being able to participate into any animation offers or understanding anything of the evening shows, it has been even difficult to communicate at the breakfast and dinner buffets what we wanted to have - some of the staff was unfriendly when not being able to speak italian and even made fun of us (at the breakfast buffet). The same person was also quite inflexible at noon, to give an example: as a desert there was chocolate and strawberry ice-cream at the top of the cooling box and vanilla just underneath, all already open. We wanted vanilla but she said that wasn't possible. - the breakfast was quite limited in offer and not of good quality (scrambled eggs were usually given cold and sludgy and bacon still soft and cold as well). Coffee and other hot drinks were only possible in self-service from the machine. - bathing caps were mandatory at the pool and no diving/jumping allowed - the sea was somewhat blurry and full of sea urchins, which made swimming difficult
