Reviewed By Michal KThis hotel is situated close to the beach, it's advantage is that the hotel rooms are renovated, but you could already see some defects on the new setup. Another advantage we found useful is that you'll get a free of charge sunshade with 2 sunbeds on the beach which normally costs abt. 15Euro per day The hotel offered inclusive breakfast which was OK, but nothing extra, just an average. The location is also good if you prefer night life as it is close to the city center where you find the most bars and shops. We were also happy with the services as we required baby cot and they arranged this for us very quickly Since I traveled with my family I can just confirm that you would not hear any noise from the streets... The rooms are spacious for 2 - 3 persons, for a bigger family you should rather look for a suite.

Our HOTEL VINA DE MAR is an elegant three-star hotel in Lignano Sabbiadoro, located in a wonderful place of Riviera, surrounded by pine trees and green bush. It is a quiet but central zone of the city, only 250 metres from the beach and a few steps from the shopping centre of Lignano Pineta.

Reviewed By Anh Khoa VI spent 3 nights in this hotel with my wife. The room was small but it wasn't a problem since we stayed inside only for sleeping. On the other hand it was clean and the bathroom as well. The hotel restaurant uses a buffet formula for break fast and dinner (I'm not sure if it's the same for lunch because I didn't had it in the room fee) and everything were very tasty. The beach is quiete close to the hotel (only 5 mind walking). It's located in Lignano Pineta and the surrounding is very calm and relaxed (good for family with kids or aged couples). Lignano Sabbiadoro, which is a lot more lively, is 7 km far from the hotel.

No 4* Hotel

Parking on the facility grounds was not offered, even after asking for it. Contrary to what the hotel communicates sunbeds were not offered for the day of departure. Disappointing ! Breakfast was poor. Overall rather a 2-3 star hotel, definitely not 4.

We've mada a right choice
Reviewed By KonstanzaWe started looking for a hotel in Lignano a couple of months before the planned visit in July. I wrote inquiries to many hotels and was positively surprised to receive a very detailed, warm and personal answer. This was a good start. The hotel is locaed centrally in Lignano Sabbiadoro, maybe around 50m from the beach, the sunbeds + umbrella are included. The pedestrian street is just around the corner, but despite much action there the hotel rooms are quite, no noise was coming from there. Depending on the choice of the package the hotel is offering there may be some additional services included, too. We ordered just breakfast and the coffee bar, and we liked it. The rooms / apartments are clean and big enough for a family, the daily cleaning is very thorough. Generally, the staff is very nice, friendly, always helpful with whatever request a traveller may have. Signor Sutto, molte grazie per aver organizzato il compleanno di mia figlia!! Tip: just 50m away from the hotel there is a great place offering frozen yoghurt which we visited almost every day. The great idea is that one can create his own mixture adding different sweets, fresh berry, fruit, chocolate and so on. Really worth trying :-)

Reviewed By keithrhodes47Spent a week at this hotel, whilst visiting a friend who lives nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, a particular mention of our waiter Alan, who was most obliging. The food was very good, with generous servings, and were introduced, to a Frulian speciality, "Frico". Our friend took us to various local destinations, including Timau, near the Austrian border, which has a museum about the first world war. as this area was the front line, between the Austrian and the Italian Armies. We were allocated a room with balcony, overlooking the main street, which had little traffic, and gave us good views over valley below

Reviewed By cb75_itThe albergo miravalle is a great place to stay in a wonderful and not so crowded part of the Carnia, just a few miles east of the most famous but not necessarily more beautiful Dolomites. The little village of Forni Avoltri gives you a real taste of mountain life in the beautiful setting of pastures and high peaks. The surroundings are full with many trails for hikes and climbs of all grades, from a pleasure stroll along the river to strenuous hikes in the high country. Lots of history with the WWI front lines and fortifications to be explored and the springs of the river Piave, which echoes with the memories of epic battles. The hotel is very nice, with a great view on the valley. The host and the service are friendly and welcoming, food is good, with a mixture of traditional mountain menus and a touch of Italian taste. Great value for your money.

Reviewed By vickybergWe stayed for one night while passing through the area. Ingrid, the owner, was really friendly and make us feel very welcome. Room was very clean and bathroom recently renovated. A bit noise at night because is on a very traveled country road but I would definitely recommend it!

What a nice stay
Reviewed By Daniel SWe choose to have a city break in Lignano and spent just a night in this hotel. However, it was more than enough to fall in love with this hotel. The hotel itself is not to fancy but the people working here are very nice and kind. From the lobby we met smiling people who offered us all the necessary help to have a perfect accommodation. Also we got an upgrade and received a room with see view, thanks a lot! The best part of our experience was the restaurant. We decided to have dinner here and I have to say that this was a great choose, very delicious and professional cooked and served food. So, definetelly I would go for a half or full board. We already plan to return here in couple of months for a longer stay.
