Want to see a REAL temple/pagoda in China? You can't find anything more authentic/dì dào than the Liuzi Temple in Lingling. Down a "hùtong" alley in the southern portion of the city, this temple incorporates traditional Chinese architecture and layout, across the river (by 1.5 RMB ferry) from similarly ancient buildings. Absolutely worth a visit for those who appreciate ancient architecture and under-appreciated antiquities.

永州异蛇村，事实上也没有多少蛇，柳宗元说的有些夸张了，这里其实就是一个小村庄，空气十分清新，确实看到了一些蛇，不过都是被关在笼子里养的，还有人员看护。虽然之前没有见过，但是第一次看到一大推蛇在笼子里面游来游去，鸡皮疙瘩都起来了。

The park itself, with it's relatively clean river environment is a nice get away for locals, but not worth driving any distance to see. There are caves, which are always closed and renovation has been continual here and there throughout the park. If you're in the area (Liuzi Temple) just continue south on Pingyang South Road along the beautiful Xiao River (it joins and becomes the Xiang River just north of Lingling) and it ends at this park with a relatively large parking area. The adjoining village and university offer nice samples of Chinese life.

今天和几个朋友来到了著名的永州八景之一的香零山，因为我不是湖南人，所以对于这个景点还真是第一次听说，被朋友们取笑了。它的位置非常特别，就在潇湘湖中，在岸上一眼就可看见，可以乘船过去，价钱也不贵，在上面拍照很开心，风光很秀丽。

潇湘平湖是用来划龙舟比赛的场地哦，平常的时候都不给进去玩耍游泳了，只能在岸上观看了，白天的湖在明媚的阳光的照耀下，闪闪发光，景色非常完美，目测湖水应该很清澈，因为不能靠近，只能大概看了，岸边有草地和绿化带，周围的风光都不错。

美丽的潇湘公园，在永州的第二个早上，我们就来逛这里啦，因为来的比较早，刚进去的时候，里面就有一些跑步的人喝一些锻炼身体的老人，还是挺清净的，只可惜不可以开车进去逛，只能停外面，不过在里面玩的很开心啊，好玩的碰碰车、过山车，神奇的是还可以溜冰，真好。

近两年刚改建装修了一遍，看起来很宽敞很新，但是已经没有了文物古迹的特征，就是一个典型的复制品吧，不过虽然是这样的情况，游客还真是不少，我也就觉得这个景点一般般吧，没有什么稀奇，不过目前的那块长廊上有很多古代历史事迹的记载，可以去了解下，字迹写得不错。

很惊讶，岭口水库竟然是永州的一个小景点，不过这里倒也确实是挺不错的，环境和空气都是顶级的好，水库面积挺大的，水面有好多石头露出来，一些鱼儿见到我们慌忙躲去那里，真是可爱的鱼儿，生活在这么清澈的水中，鱼儿可真是幸运了。

永州很有文化气息的一个地方，种了好多的芭蕉树，绿绿的，大片大片的叶子，真的好壮观啊。进去绿天庵的要经过一条小道，小道两旁都是芭蕉树，诗情画意很浓厚啊。建筑挺新的，应该是改建或是重建的，游客不多，里面很清幽。
