Ich komme immer wieder gern in die Landsauna. Jedesmal gibt es etwas Neues zu entdecken. Da ist jemand am Wirken mit Liebe zum Detail. Und gleichzeitig ist es immer wieder schön, in eine bekannte und entspannte Atmospäre einzutauchen. Jeder Besuch ist wie ein kleiner Kurzurlaub.

It is a park with trees and water and a couple of restaurants dotted around. Like most things in Bremen, highly unspectacular and barely worthwhile a look. This is NOT an attraction, but a good place to go for a run.

This is both from an architectural point of view as from the point of view of the exhibits very well worth visiting. The "Kaffee Worpswede", or "Kaffee verrueckt", which is adjoining, is also a must see, if you want to discover Bernhard Hoettger's style, which is a bit reminiscent of Gaudi.

When out cycling through the moors around Osterholz-Scharmbeck, this place is perfect for taking a rest and taking in the views of the countryside. Sometimes we bring some snacks to munch on while appreciating the spectacular views. However, we've noticed that vandals lit a fire on the lower observation area, and we're concerned it might weaken the structure. It is possible to access this site with a car, but it is not recommended. Walking or cycling is the best way to get to the site.

Happened to visit without planning just to kill time in the evenings after office hours as my visit was short and business purpose. Expected to witness lots of colorful bright Rhododendrons, however, I was too early there and didn't see much of them. The park is huge (one can get lost if you are alone and visiting for the first time) and well maintained. Landscape is soothing and perfect place for a evening walk or to jog around with pets.

Set in the woods outside the town this house is fascinating.Our 3euro entrance fee per person was well worth it.We had an excellent guide and you could touch all the items in the house.The town of Worpswede has always been an artistic place and there are plenty of galleries and artisans shops dotted all over as well as cafes and bars to people watch.Best to contact the towns citizens advice by mail to see when the house is open.

This museum is a must for anyone visiting Worpswede. It houses artworks from the major artists and provides a fascinating background to the history of the foundation and subsequent development of this artist colony.
There are also a couple of historical rooms to show middle class artists' living in the early 1900s.
A fabulous place to start your exploration of Worpswede!

Wer die Geschichte des Teufelsmoores näher kennen lernen möchte, ist hier richtig. Torfkähne, die Entstehung und das Leben des Teufelsmoores werden hier sehr gut dokumentiert. Die Wirtschaftszweige der Vergangenheit wie Schiffbau, Zigarrenproduktion und das Handwerk und Landwirtschaft werden plastisch dargestellt. Wunderschön sind die Ausseanlagen mit den Fachwerkhäusern. Ein Highlight ist aber das Norddeutsche Vogelmuseum, das in vielen Dioramen einen vielfältigen Überblick über die heimsiche Vogelwelt liefert.

In den letzten zwei Jahren habe ich eine Reihe von Konzerten besucht. Diese Location hat einen besonderen Charme. Ein begeisterungsfähiges Publikum, bei dem der Funke auf die Bühne überspringt und wieder zurück ins Publikum fliegt. Die club-Atmosphäre sucht ihresgleichen. Immer wieder ein Genuss.
