VISAVUORI is the museum of the life and works of sculptor Emil Wikstrom (1864-1942)
Visavuori is a few kilometres off from the main road Tampere-Helsinki. Worth the break. The old buildings tell us about the work of one of the most famous Finnish the sculptors from the time when the nationalism broke out in Finland. The new building from the 1970’s show us the works of the most famous Finnish cartoonist.

Valmarinniemi is situated on the shore of the Lake Mallasvesi, about 5 km from the Valkeakoski city centre towards Palkane. The nature path starts from the parking place at Valmarinniemi and circles both Valmarinniemi peninsula and the small islands of Palunen and Riuttasaari. The 1.3 km long nature path is easy to walk and offers beautiful landscapes, groves, lake nature and forest.
