The temple is pretty, but there was no history according to the man in the entrance. They built the temple 1.5 years ago as a tourist destination, although people actually go there to pray. Still, the building was interesting if you're into Holy place architecture, and the view from the hill was also pretty.

We stopped over at this beach during our trip to Parai. It was low season and we were the only visitors there. Only one or two of the beachside stalls were opened - the rest were stranded. Waves were quite heavy and we did not swim there. The water was not clear at all.
We had a few photos and then left the place.
We practically spent about 15-20 mins here.

very nice beach with less tourists. Enterance fee just rp 3,000. The sand is very soft, white and c clean. Not much to do there except swim and enjoy to see the beach, This is my favorite beach compare with parai because it still natural and not commercial. Very beautiful long beach.

Tongaci Beach - located in Bangka Island - Indonesia.
Beautiful nature beach with medium waves and soft sands and attractive turtle conservation. It's a beautiful nature, live, life, healthy turtles.
The facility around Tongaci beach is food court, souvenir shops, photo spot, beautiful umbrella open air hall way (see picture).
Easy to access to Tongaci beach from Pangkal Pinang, Bangka.

Honestly I came here is not for praying in the Vihara, only for sightseeing after long work and testing drone on the beach hehe...So I did not come into the Vihara, only seeing the wonderful beach and playing drone. It was beautiful, quiet and I believe I can stay longer if I was not alerted by my flight back. The view from the Vihara to the beach is wonderful; the rocky beach. If you come to Sungailiat, try to see the beach from this spot! Recommended!

Vihara ini sangat ramai di kunjungi wisatawan dari berbagai daerah & berbagai agama, vihara ini dekat dengan mesjid & informasi yang kami dapatkan ada rencana pembangunan gereja Khatolik di dekat Vihara Dewi Kwan Yin ini, untuk sementara umat Khatolik yang akan beribadah bisa beribadah ke Vihara ini karena di dalam Vihara ini ada Patung Dewi Kwan Yin & patung Bunda Mariah, dari sini bisa kita simpulkan bahwa warga daerah ini sangat akrab, kompak, saling toleransi walaupun berlainan agama.
Di belakang vihara terdapat sumur yang tidak pernah kering sepanjang masa yang menurut penjaganya air sumur tersebut bisa membuat orang awet muda, menyembuhkan penyakit & pintar apabila air di minum, mandi & berendam.
Vihara ini juga ada tempat pelemparan uang logam / koin apabila lemparan koin tepat maka doa kita akan terkabul
Didalam Vihara ini juga terdapat foto foto artis terkenal yang konon pernah berkunjung ke Vihara ini.

The second beach visited after Pasir padi, we took our break fast food and eat there.
spent the time for taking picture of the good view with a lot of big stones and the rest time spent to collected the shells.
There is no clear signpost when we exit the main road and many times just circling in the township area before finding the correct road to the beach. Since there are a lot of beach in Bangka, you may didn't get the right information from the people there.
The beach is good, and feel like that is your private beach since you may not seen other people there.
If I have chance to go back there, I will spent the whole day to collect the shells since I didn't found the same at any beach at Belitung.
