The atmosphere of Japanese village is preserved well, and you can feel the history of prosperity as a station town. If you are interested in Japanese geographic, city design, history and architecture, it is worth visiting. You can walk through and quickly see the place in 2 hours.
水戸黄門で、ご隠居一行が一足先に宿場町に到着し、旅籠の二階に陣笠を目印として掲げておく。TVで見たシーンを思い出しました。

オーストリアの農村をイメージした娯楽施設です。アスレチック、乗馬体験、お菓子作りに遊具など子供達が楽しめる場所が満載なので、家族連れにオススメです。また自家製のソーセージなども販売されていて、なかなか美味しかったです。

車で展望台にあがるのに少々時間がかかりました。それと、運転に慣れている方ではないと少々厳しいところではないかな、と思いました。展望台には広い駐車場とお手洗いがあります。遊歩道も設置されています。展望台からは北アルプス方面や諏訪湖と富士山の絶景等、とても感動する場所でした。また訪れたい場所です。

Although Narai-juku where is the nearest sightseeing spot from this bridge is an old town, this bridge doesn't have long history. But it has unique structure, it doesn't have piers. This type of large bridge is unusual in Japan. I recommend to stop by here when you come Narai-juku.

塩尻から諏訪湖へ抜ける国道沿いにあります。駐車場は広く、おいしいそばなどが味わえるレストランと、塩尻の名産品であるワインをそろえた売店などがあります。またパターゴルフやゴーカート、博物館などもそろっていて、道の駅の範囲にとどまらず充実していました。

奈良井駅から宿場の方には向かわずに、山の方へ坂を登っていくと、八幡宮があり、さらにその奥にあります。数えてはいませんが、おそらく名前の通り二百体いるのでしょう。たくさんのお地蔵さんが、木漏れ日の中にたたずんでいました。静かな空間で、なんだか心が落ち着きました。

Our family really enjoyed visiting this small museum after hiking over Torii pass. The museum is located at the southern end of town. They provided a brochure in English, which helped us understand the displays.
