The museum has since been renamed the Military Intelligence Museum, and a new TripAdvisor review page has been created under that name.

Our museum wants to share the secret of military intelligence from the Boer War to the present day! Learn about espionage and secrets, and see how they played a major part in some of the biggest wars in history! As we are on an active military base, all visits need to be booked in advance and we require at least a week's notice before the visit.
we were in a party of Rotary members, exploring local places of interest. The visit was in 2 parts, one of the general work of intelligence services and the other on specialised intelligence photography. Each was good, though we found the general collection more absorbing. It was a revelation to know that the "West" was "allowed" to visit the Russian sector of Germany during the Cold war, as part of a reciprocal agreement, even if they were sometimes made less than welcome. I suppose it made for less suspicion of what the other side could be up to. Entrance is free, but it is convention to make a donation, which can be tax-effective.

great place to visit for all ages with pathed routes and muddy trails. Really good place to take the dog for a walk away from roads.

Lovely woods and can do a circular walk incorporating Chicksands Wood also. Interesting to walk along the edge of the cycle track and catch a glimpse of them all doing their bike stunts. Tends to be dry underfoot in most spots as quite sandy. Lots of paths to choose from. Parking is free (always a bonus!)

We are a family friendly pub serving good quality real ales and craft beers. We have an extensive gin range and a fantastic array of cocktails. Locally sourced bar snack menu is also available.
My wife and I visited for the first time on a Wednesday evening in advance of their weekly quiz night held in the back bar. The quiz night is clearly very popular and all of the c15 tables had been reserved for this. We ordered some drinks and created a "tab", signed up for the quiz and then went to the front bar and ordered a main course each - scampi/chips plus lasagne. The 25 minute wait was well worth it. We then enjoyed the quiz too nb one of the bar staff was available to take drinks orders from the quiz tables which was helpful. We will be back !

Played the baroness. Lovely course and the greens have really improved over the last few months. Staff friendly and food was nice too. Some juniors were also having fun on the baron which was nice to see. Would definitely recommend
