QC Terme San Pellegrino

This is a huge operation. On arrival the actual building is stunning and awe-inspiring! On arrival we realised this was a lot bigger than we’d expected as we were faced with a big queue to check-in. After being given our robe, towel and flip-flops (I’d bring my own flip-flops if I came again) we went to the changing room which was very busy. As soon as you then enter the therme you are overwhelmed by the variety of options before you from different pools (none that you can swim in just to be aware) and jacuzzis to steam, sauna and numerous relaxation spaces. The tea dotted around the place is a nice touch. We booked a 50min massage which was excellent. We arrived at 1700 and stayed until 2230 and probably only went to about half of it because it’s so vast! I didn’t hear a word of English spoken which we liked - it was clearly just full of locals treating themselves to a spa at the weekend. The apéritivo which is included in the price was very nice and a great experience. Cheese, ham, bread and fruit with your choice of bubbles of fruit juice. All in all a great experience and I’d highly recommend. It took us 45 mins from Bergamo at 1700 and 35 mins back at 2230. Thé white taxi was €75 there and €60 back.
