Locked In Escape Rooms

The first escape room & bar in San Miguel De Salinas. An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit, or having completed a Mission. Great fun for groups of families, friends or colleague team building!

We have been to an escape room before and really enjoyed it, so thought we would try this one on a particularly rainy day in Spain, We booked online (via TripAdvisor/website) and it was pretty easy to do. We found the place easily too and...MoreThank you so much for a great, indepth review. It was great hosting your game and yes you're right I'm English - I think ?

I spent an afternoon here with two adults and eight children. It is a good place to shop with children as it is clean, tidy and relatively easy to keep an eye on the kids. Nice shops, friendly staff and good places to eat and drink when required. As it is outside and not enclosed in a buliding it isabit like walking in a small town.

Dique de Levante Breakwater

The Dique de Levante, with an extension of 1600 metres, has become a privileged esplanade facing the sea. Its structure combines wood and steel, and at the bottom side it includes a cycleway. The Dique de Levante is one of the most visited places by both tourists and inhabitan.

The raised breakwater boardwalk is longer than you think - you spot the statue at the curve and think that’s it - well actually it’s only half distance! Not sure of the length in total but reckon it must be near a mile. The main walkway is made of railway sleeper type logs but not as thick and a narrow paved path is to one side. Be careful if you walk along the planks without footwear as a number of the fixing screws have worked loose and become slightly raised in places. The statue half way is interesting, sculpted by Carmen Fraile (name’s on the plinth!) and alongside is a water Fountain. Walking along you get views over the marina and also the submarine museum moored up at the jetty across wasteland. A boat rental/water ski area is at the end of the marina and no doubt interesting to watch the goings on in summer (it was closed when I was there mid November). Fishermen gather along rocks around the lighthouse and a number of cats hang around the bench area and stairs nearby - looking over the railing I noticed a couple of small huts and food bowls so they’re obviously well fed and looked after - when I sat down one insisted on trying to snooze on my lap! If it’s a hot day you can walk along the bottom road which is in the shade.
A pleasant walk, nice views and good for exercise!

We were recommended to this beach by a long-time resident. Although it's only round the corner from La Zenia, which can be dangerous, Cala Capitan is safe, gently shelving and sandy - but crowded. There are two Beaches and a rocky promontory. But be prepared to walk to the beach - parking nearby is impossible. (BTW, it's not in Punta Prima, but off the N332!)

A new addition to the Plaza Square, ( formerly Sapphire cocktail bar) Gin And Fizz Gin Bar. Really great bar for pre / post meal drinks.
130 Gins to choose from, all meticulously presented with attention to detail.
Some of the Gins are more expensive but the extensive menu has all the prices so you are fully aware before you order. Ian and Tracey, the owners were great and very knowledgeable and also very friendly.
If Gin is not you drink , there are plenty of other options to choose.
At the moment they are not opening Sunday and Monday evenings so if you are planning a visit avoid these days.
Well worth calling next time you are in or near Villa Martin Plaza.

Beautiful salt crystal beach with pink hued water- if you don’t know what to look for it looks blue from the distance. It was too cold to swim but dipped my feet in the pretty pink water. Also would recommend for photographers to py attention to lighting for best photo opportunities.
