Monrosa Rafting

If you are fond of river sports, love nature and want to have fun... this is the right place. Since more than 20 years, from April to September, we do our best to offer fun, relax and comfort to all our friends who come to meet us and experience new emotions. On the Mount Rosa slopes, our Center occupies a wide green area directly on Sesia river, in a strategic location for any river sport (kayak, rafting, hydrospeed, canyoning and mini-raft). It is located in a very large area equipped with a bar, barbecues, showers, deckchairs, volleyball and soccer grounds: ideal to relax after a descent!

Our family really enjoyed three different activities with Monrosa Rafting over three days - a rafting expedition, a kayak lesson and a canyoning trip. On each trip the guides were excellent - experienced, safe and spoke good English. They catered the trips to the needs, wishes and experience of our family. The prices were very reasonable and we felt we got great value for money, and a memorable and fun experience. Pierro and his team were highly professional. The Sesia river was beautiful and clear.

Basilica of Sant'Andrea

Arriving at a new Italian town like Vercelli is always a nice surprise with charming architecture and others to see and enjoy.
The church is a typical example of basilical construction, a harmonic composition of roman and gothic style.
The puritane interrior allows clear study of the architecture. Stone dominates the inside, the outside is gor bricks.
Walking around the chiesa and the parocchia is worth to enjoy and adore also the honourably great ancient trees, such as an appr. 250 years old cedar, neighbouring a 30 metres tall sequoia, magnolias and others.

We looked for a rafting experience during our roadtrip and spontaneously went to Vocca for Sesia Rafting. The people were very friendly and their English was good.
Because I brought an action camera, I asked to sit in the front. They did not make a big deal out of it and we switched halfway through the ride. We also did one rapid swimming, which was a nice experience.
We had to drive quite a bit up in the Mountains, but the view along the way was nice and the rafting experience was exactly what we were looking for!

Of course you go when the weather is sunny and therefore it attracts many people, that's still ok, but if you have a person in front of you which has fear, the fun is gone! Then you slide in a tremendously slow speed down!

I would agree with some of the reviewers the outlet is not very impressive. The items are average and prices are not attractive.
The thing I like about the this outlet is the availability of parking and not too much crowded.
Overall it is probably worth visiting if you are close by.
