Flute and Firkin

Reviewed By Paulkennel - Macclesfield, United Kingdom

Great range of beers including a German wheat beer from the world's oldest brewery, and there are several good beers brewed in Poynton by the proprietor. I believe they stock at least 30 gins. Staff are very friendly. The pub looks small but there is a rear beer garden, upstairs seating and plenty of room to drink outside on a fine day. This is a pleasant change from corporate pubs which can lack character. They have recently introduced snacks which at present are a choice of meat pies. I understand that a cheese board will be the next addition.
