I found out that this mine exists accidentally. We enjoyed pretty much everything, except the food on spot that was too expensive for what it was (canned Campbell's soup at $3.5 a bowl). Besides that, everything was enjoyable and our kids loved this activity. I can say that they are well prepared to assure you everything to spend great time. The guides speak English and French, so don't worry about the language barrier.
I only would liked the tour to be even longer. You go about 50 meters deep while the mine is around 1.5 km deep.
The prospection is so-so. You'd go hunt for gold into a small river, but there is no gold. Luckily at the end you'll earn a little bottle containing gold foil. Still, the activity is amusing for children.

This is a second-floor art gallery situated in beautiful downtown North Hatley, Quebec.
It is internationally renowned for its naive art.
There are also many interesting bronze sculptures.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Wakesurfing with Simon was a blast! The lake is beautiful and his boat generates a really nice wave to surf. Even in September the water was hot and the vibes excellent!! We really appreciated the coaching on how to get up and ride the wave. I strongly recommend trying this out.

Lorsque je suis passée, la galerie était tranquille et j’ai eu le plaisir de jaser avec son propriétaire, un ancien confrère de classe, amoureux des arts depuis longtemps. Petit monsieur sympathique, il prend plaisir à nous parler des œuvres qu’il a rassemblées et des artistes qui les ont créées.
Chacun y trouve son compte. On peut y voir des œuvres figuratives ou abstraites, beaucoup de toiles, mais également des sculptures. Certaines œuvres nous invitent au rêve, d’autres nous font sourire et d’autres encore nous renvoient à notre monde qui ne tourne pas toujours très rond. J’en prends pour preuve les petits kamikazes d’Aline Martineau qui, même s’ils sont mignons comme tout, se destinent tout de même à commettre l’irréparable…
Cette galerie est un lieu fort agréable, lumineux, où l’on a du plaisir à perdre notre temps et à se remplir les yeux de beauté. D’ailleurs, ne serait-ce que pour la magnifique vue sur le lac Massawippi, il faut osez monter!

It is not often that I write a review for a business where I live but if you are coming to North Hatley and want to go fishing I would highly recommend Florent.
I had little success on the lake until I was guided by Florent. I had caught mostly panfish and small bass but the real prizes of the lake eluded me..............
I have hired Florent for school groups, family and friends. Every outing was a great success and everyone always had a great day. Florent is particularly good with kids including teenagers. Has lots of good stories, pays attention to everyone and most importantly puts fish on!!!
After one of our outings Florent invited us back to the Serendipity B&B that he operates (also recommended) to prepare caviar and smoke fish from our catch. What an experience!
Great guide and great service. Well equipped with excellent equipment. Highly recommend!

We had the opportunity to do a tasting with our wine club group. The owners are very passionate and enthusiastic. Their sparkling wine is enjoyable and tasty. Nice alternative to champagne. We had a full tour and lots of explanation of the workings of equipment and the traditional method of making sparkling wine. Very enjoyable visit

There is nothing more magical than a sleigh ride in the woods after a fresh snowfall. Even the horses seem to love it. Mr. Robidas is a wonderful, bilingual, kind and informative man and he obviously cares a great deal about his horses. The horses are real characters. They know the sleigh ride "routine" so well that they stop automatically at certain spots along the trail until Mr. Robidas has said what he wants to (about the trees, the sugar bush, the animals...), before they move on, sometimes at a leisurely amble, sometimes at a trot. It is an amazing experience, for children, for adults, for city people, and especially for friends from the Caribbean or the Southern USA who haven't experienced snow before. Reservations are essential.

お洒落な町として有名なノルトアトレーの中心になっているのが、マサウィッピ湖に流れ込む川岸に設けられたマリーナです。プライベートボートがたくさん係留されているのは当然ですが、その周辺にインフォメーションセンターや、飲食店、土産物店が集まっています。長い木造りの桟橋や屋外の劇場の周辺は湖畔の芝生になっていて、記念写真を撮っている人もたくさんいました。

マゴグから東に３０分ほどドライブしたマサウィッピ湖の北岸にあるノルトアトレーは、イースタン・タウンシップの中でもお洒落な町として有名ですが、事前に入手できる情報は限定されています。マリーナの隣にあったインフォメーションセンターで、タウンマップを入手して、町を散策してきました。通り沿いにはお洒落なお店がたくさんあり、町のあちこちに美しい花篭が飾られているのが印象的でした。
