Several collections of model cars, some 3500 items owned or on loan from collectors throughout Wales and the West Midlands.Informative and knowledgeable guides on hand. Many old motoring photographs, and a collection of many from a collection depicting the life of Charles Rolls-co-founder of Rolls-Royce. The collections open to the public since Spring 2016 sit in a Grade 2 listed building.probably the largest public collection in Wales.Kids go free and are very welcome.Cars for sale and books too.Kids welcome and go FREE! One collection was built up over sixty years and lay undiscovered for several years until rescued and transferred to it's current home. There is a charming adjacent town museum,; two cafes, pubs and a hotel await your presence. No parking charges, although a little crowded at weekends.

The castle and its numerous information boards is a good place to learn about the importance of Montgomery in the context of its location overlooking one of the most important routes in and out of Wales. Located on a craggy peak which dominates the landscapes for many miles, the car park is very well located for both the able bodied as well as those of society who are less mobile (eg wheel chair or walking stick users). Situated less than three miles from an ancient fording point of the River Severn it is easy to understand why a fort should be built here- it is a great location for a large detachment of troops and cavalry, thus offering the opportunity for control of the river/border crossing point when required. The castle is badly ruined but easy to understand how it looked. Besides history, if you wish to see extensive views of the landscape, this castle is a must. A visit would last 60 minutes max. In poor weather or winter, dress up warmly.

Part of the story of Welsh/English conflict, this set of ruins is worth a visit for its history and the extensive views. Beware the steep slope to the site (impossible to those with impaired mobility). The castle has several information boards thereon, which brings the place to life. Well worth a quick visit if you are passing by.

The Cottage - The Monty's Brewery Visitor Centre is the ideal spot to enjoy a pint of your favourite Monty's beer, learn about the brewery and how we brew our beer. It's a perfect spot to stop off and enjoy the fantastic views out over the Welsh hills. There are great walks around and if you are walking Offa's Dyke, we brew the official beer "Best Offa". There is a small pilot plant for brewing experimental beers which can be viewed from the bar area. A limited food offering is available, Sausage roll, pork pie, or cheese board to be enjoyed with a pint!
