This location is not for children under 7 years old. Amazing and stuning view is inspiration even for mountain passionate travellers. On 2000 m. that is possible to reach by car this place offers beauty in all his pureness. It is easly reached by normal walk and under must see for every visitor of Durmitor Nacional Park. Get warm clothes and go when the weather is warmer if possible without wind. Get spiritual journey for just a second of viewing entire circle around mighty mountain Durmitor.

Lipa cave is located in Dobrosko village, on the outskirts of Cetinje, on the pass by National restaurant Belveder. The cave was already known in prince Njegos' time, and it was discovered almost at the same time as Postojnska cave in Slovenia. Pavle Rovinski, the renowned traveller and explorer, wrote in 1887 that the cave contained stalactites and other ornaments rarely seen in other caves. Cave is located on only 5km from town center of Cetinje, 33km from Budva, and 35km from capital city of Podgorica. In the year 2017 cave tour has been prolonged, visitors will now spend longer time in the cave and will have more beautiful cave ornaments to enjoy.

Lipa Cave is one of the largest caves in Montenegro and the first and only cave in Montenegro accessible for group visits. It is a karst cave with a system of about 2.5 kilometres of passages and halls. The difference in elevation between the highest and lowest point is more than 300 metres. Part of the cave contains an underground river. The river starts close to the village of Lipa and stretches into the Mountains by the Adriatic Sea. The temperature in the cave is eight to twelve degrees Celsius. Lipa Cave is rich in cave formations – stalactites (hang from the ceiling), stalagmites (rise from the floor), and stalagmites (pillars) – with many being found in a small space. Some of the most significant stalactites are spaghetti, popcorn, crocodile, and curtain formations. Some of the most significant stalagmites are Totem and Gral formations. Exploration of the cave began in the 19th century. Lipa Cave is located in the Skopska Crna Gora Mountains in Lipa Dobrska. The cave can only be visited if visitors are accompanied by a trained guide. Tours (10:00, 11:30, 1:00, 2:30, and 4:00) take 60 minutes and are appropriate for all ages. Admission is €10.90 for adults, €6.90 for youth (5-15), and €1 for children. There is a parking lot for vehicles from which visitors can take a train to the entrance of the cave.

I always recommend this on the Montenegro Messageboard. You can take the little shuttle bus that runs every 10 minutes from Budva to Sveti Stefan, walk down to the beach from the Sveti Stefan exit, have lunch at the little beach bar in fron of Sveti Stefan. Enjoy the views and walk thru the Pineforest to Milocer. The views are stunning(the walk is 10 minutes). It makes a great half day trip or lay on the beach all day afterwards. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth

It is simply beautiful to walk through this national park, through the trees and primary Forests, watching katuns, sheep, and shepherds. Locals are very helpful and offer food. Though there are trails through the park it is still very pristine and green. The trails are all well marked with signs.

As previous reviews for a foot passenger the trip is free, cars cost 4.50 Euros. If you combine the ferry with local transport you can see a great deal of the bay for very little money. The bus on the Lapetane side into Kotor is 1.50 Euros and it's such a narrow road letting the bus take the strain is brilliant. Plus, the driving laws are zero tolerance on alcohol so ferry and bus gives you a welcome treat so a little beer or bottle of wine by the waterside is definately on.

My wife and I took a day trip by coach to explore much of Montenegro and I have to say that although in general I wasn't too impressed with the people who greatly favoured both Russian and German tourists, I can take nothing away from the spectacular scenery. Further along this gorge there is a fantastic secluded monastery with delightful Gardens. This is certainly a visit worth travelling for

These ruins sit on top of a hill overlooking Stari Bar and down towards the coastline. There are therefore incredible views at sunset. The ruins themselves are impressive and easily accessible. They are easy to walk around and you can really imagine what life was like before the earthquake. Some more description in English would have been helpful though so make sure you do some research before going to fill in the gaps.

The town was very quiet when I visited in September, a relief from busy Kotor. It is a great place to stroll along the bay and admiring the old houses and churches. The pedestrian only waterfront road (except for the cars of the locals) adds to the charm. You can also take a boat trip to the Lady of the Rocks island in front of the village, price is €5. Perast can easily reached from Kotor by bus or by boat.

This is a still working monastery perched 900 meters or so above the Zeta Valley. It is the most important religious site for Orthodox Christians in Montenegro. It is quite impressive, though not as spectacular as other mountain top monasteries, for example, in Greece.
