Medicine Park is a town in Comanche County, Oklahoma, United States, situated in the Wichita Mountains near the entrance to the 60,000-acre (240 km) Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. Medicine Park has a long history as a vintage cobblestone resort town. Medicine Park is located near the city of Lawton and Fort Sill. It is an exurb, part of the Lawton Metropolitan Statistical Area. Many of the original structures are constructed of naturally formed cobblestones—these red granite cobblestones are unique to the Wichita Mountains. The population was 382 at the 2010 census.

I went with one of my boys to discovery Outpost to go to one luke's (the owner) classes and it was amazing. Luke has a way of teaching that keeps the kids attention and the activity afterwards was fun for the kids. It's a very educational experience that's enjoyable as well. As for the shop I can tell you that Everytime we go to medicine park my kids beg to go there.

Been here many times. Seems like every weekend in the spring summer and probably fall, they have something going on. Beautiful river walk, with ducks and geese. Trout fishing is allowed during season. And a swimming area. Little shops and restaurants. Great little town to visit.

I laugh at all the post on the water. This is a flowing stream. It starts way up the north on the walkway so it's not stagnant. They have completely went through and drained scrubbed and painted it within the last 5 years. Medicine Park has done wonderful things to this area. It's a beautiful place. We've been taking our children where they now take their children. We l love Medicine Park in the Wichita wildlife area..My children have actually climbed Mount Scott. And I'm talking even grandchildren as young as seven.. My craziest child climbed up it and then down it. ????

Wonderful little shop that is next door to a liquor store owned by the same couple. They did such a nice job with their selections of merchandise and great buildout in both buildings. Can’t miss the wonderful old truck out front!

Many unusual and unique items from which to choose. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I have been there several times. On one of my trips I accidentally left my credit card by the cash register. When I returned, the owner had put my card in their safe to keep for me. I plan to return soon to shop for Christmas gifts
