We are frequent visitors to Paxos and since 2011 we have been buying jewellery from George – mainly earrings. Whilst on holiday this year, we decided to commission him to make a gold pendant of his own design for our special anniversary. The beautiful pendant was ready within 2 days and we are so pleased with it – this being the first time we have ever commissioned such work. We can thoroughly recommend a visit to George’s charming shop – where there is a wide range of quality jewellery and he and his wife always make their customers very welcome… June 2017

Kipiadi Beach

Reviewed By Tav72 - Chippenham

Not the easiest beach to find but well worth a visit. The road down is very rough and you will need to walk the last part. But it's worth it as you get a gorgeous bay, which has few other visitors. The sea is amazing, clear and blue and warm. The beach is pebble so a pair of suf shoes is recommended for getting Ina no out of the sea.

Located in one of Paxos streets right next to the main square --Kalimera is one of the classiest places one can enjoy a greatcup of coffee (many blends) -- a fresh juice --- or a great Sandwich snack .The decor is retro with an island touch ! The vibe is always positive !! The service is impeccable! And the evening has great music, nice cocktails and a nice set up of top shelf drinks ! Surely a place to visit when you visit the island!

Ypapanti Church

Reviewed By DavidCM2000 - Haywards Heath, United Kingdom

Ypapanti church is the only Byzantine Church on Paxos. The church itself is rarely open to the public but the graveyard of tombs to the Grammatikos family is usually open as is the campanile. You can climb to the top, from which there is a wonderful view of the church, the surrounding countryside and down to the coast at Lakka.
Ypapanti is best approached from the Old Lakka Road via the turn off in Magazia (signposted Sunset Bar). Stay on this road (rather than take the left turn to the Sunset Bar at 1 km). After another 1km the village Ypapanti is visible down to the left.

Vrika Beach

Reviewed By Dimitra S

We reached the vrika beach with boat from paxos. Water is magnificent, sand is white and there are plenty of umbrellas and seats. Full organized with taverns(3). Among the taverns I highly recommend the "vrika" tavern. Umbrellas are for free, there is not even obligation to buy coffee.the owner of the tavern is friendly kind and willing to help .he also served us free beers. The second time we visited vrika beach ( initially we went to voytoumi beach but it was disappointing and returned by walking to vrika ) we ate at the "cedrus" tavern . The service was extremely bad , unfriendly the guy who works there forced us to take something r eat during our stay in the umbrellas otherwise we would pay 14eyros for the umbrellas ,and at the end of our food he did not even said bye or bring us fruit (all the other tables were served fruits).

Spyros Boats

Tha best way to explore Paxos and Antipaxos is by renting your own motorboat We are able to offer a truly unique opportunity to the visitors of Paxos to escape and explore even the most hidden parts of this island (Antipaxos sundy Beaches,Blue caves,Erimitis limestone clifs). We offer high quality services with new boats and engines adapted to the individual needs of our clients.

There are many Spyroses (Spyri?) in Paxos but there really is only one for boats. Spyros Dendias is based on the harbour front in Loggos. He runs an extremely personal boat hire service. His boats are excellent, his engines well maintained and his knowledge of the sea, weather and coast unparalleled in Paxos. He will always tailor your boat hire to whether you are seasoned boating enthusiasts or beginners, taking in to account whether you are a couple in search of seclusion or a family in search of fun. Spyros is an extremely decent guy and I recommend his boat service without reservation. My only advice is to book ahead.

A blissful day out on the sea -Captain Yianni made our holiday!
Approx 25 people on the boat of all ages, four stops for swimming in amazing clear waters. Fruit, beer, soft drinks provided. Sailing into the Blue Cave with opera music playing was a very emotional experience. Lunch on the boat, simple but tasty food. Then sailed over to Antipaxos for a couple of hours on the jaw -droppingly beautiful Vrika beach. We were out for 8 hours, for €25 per person amazing value. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Tripitos Arch

Reviewed By Abigail2016 - Province of Milan, Italy

We managed to pass alongside this amazing arch on our boat trip today. Unfortunately as we were alone we were unsure if we could indeed go through the arch. The weather wasn't the best, and the water a touch choppy, so we decided to pass by and take photos instead - but well worth a visit if you're boating down this part of the island.
