We had a great time at Flynn's VR. Lots of options for games, very user friendly set up and very Covid safe environment. So much fun for all ages.

Pedicures, manicures, relaxing and optional therapeutic massage. Definitely not an assembly line pedicure. Quite and relaxing. A luxurious spa that can be expensive. Save money buy buying a gift car directly from the spa website or through Costco. Located in Westin Bear Mountain hotel, take elevator to lower floor. Would highly recommend

The Valley course meanders through forest, borders lakes, and traverses creeks and rivers throughout its 18 holes, while offering spectacular views of Vancouver Island's beautiful landscape. In contrast to the existing Mountain course, the par 71 Valley course measures 6807 yards from the Golden Bear tees - around 400 yards shorter than its sibling. Factor in elevated tee boxes, more generous fairway widths, fewer bunkers and larger greens and the Valley course will likely be considered a 'friendlier' version of the original. Rolling through terrain at elevations of between 300 and 500 feet above sea level, there is still plenty of challenge, and many holes that could be considered the signature hole.
We received a lesson from Debbie at the start of our first round. It was an hour long lesson and we hit a lot of balls. She was extremely knowledgeable and fun to work with. We took away a lot from the lesson and noticed an improvement in our game, especially the second time we visited. The staff in the pro shop were awesome! So friendly and accommodating. We did not stay in this hotel, but had no problems getting tee times on a nice warm weekend. The course itself was breathtaking. So well maintained, and found quite challenging as we are beginners. The carts run on gps system which I found was very handy. We ended up enjoying our time here so much the first time, that we cancelled our tee time at Cordova bay to play another one here during our vacation. Please note: this course does not have a liquor license! So we spent the first round very thirsty and hungry as there was no snack/beverage cart. The second time were went we made sure to pack our own beverages and snacks, and ended up seeing a very friendly cart girl who offered us some smoothies and snacks, but again, no alcohol beverages. Will definitely be back

A gem of a lake! This lovely little lake is really a hidden treasure! A small but nice sandy beach area, the lake is perfect for swimming and soaking on your water mattress. Great for water fights too! There are areas to sit and relax for a picnic and you're surrounded by the 5km Ed Nixon Trail, a beautiful walk around the lake. You can fish here too for stocked Rainbow trout. There are three access points in total to the lake and all have good parking.
