Kstovo (Russian: Ксто́во) is a town and the administrative center of Kstovsky District in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia, located on the right bank of the Volga River, 22 kilometers (14 mi) southeast of Nizhny Novgorod, the administrative center of the oblast. Population: 66,657 (2010 Census); 66,944 (2002 Census); 62,414 (1989 Census).

Проводили ноябрьские празники в Нижнем Новгороде и, устав мерзнуть на улицах, поехами "к пальмам"))) Была с дочерью 14 лет и сыновьями 5 и 7 лет - все остались очень довольны!!!
В первую очередь порадовали скидки для многодетных семей - за безлимит на 4-х мы заплатили 2000 руб. Приехали в 5 вечера, уехали в 10 - времени хватило с лихвой! Накатались с горок, набарахтались в бассейнах - массажный супер!; погрелись в спа - есть финская, русская и хамам; выпили по коктейлю в кафе - цены приятные, плюс много акций; расслабились в джакузи и поехали домой!
Такси до Нижнего обошлось 700 руб. в одну сторону, вызвали вечером без проблем!
Рекомендую к посещению!!!

Прошли сразу оба квеста ! Все понравилось , автоматика на высшем уровне, всё без сбоев и все очень логично. Очень госиепримный прием, сделано с душой и большим желанием. Все советую оба квеста к прохождению !

There are jumping pads, electric cars, tiny roller-coaster, tiny observation wheel.
Animator lady tries to involve kids into the dancing.
Also you can see the young soccer players practicing or playing against visitor team.
Attractions works from June to September on weekend from 11 to 19

This place has a lot of history going back to XV century. Fire took his cut, so actual building has been found in 1792. So if you are looking for genuine Russian church which lived through tzars, then as active church during communist era (with a hibernation during 1937-44) this is the one.
It is enlisted as one of the historic heritage sites of Russian Federation.
This church is located on top of the hill next to Volga River. So you can see it from the river, from the bank where Volga makes a slight turn, from another hill. Many opportunities to take a nice pictures. There are sidewalks around the church, and there is a very good view on Volga from church gates.
Bell ring every hour, there are not so many of them, like 4, since this is a typical countryside church from 18th century.
Weddings are on Sundays, so you can follow Russian Orthodox weddings ceremony around 2-3pm
Parking lot is relatively roomy, there was couple of renovations around the church to make it more friendly.
If you really opportunistic you can take a ride on 114 bus from Kstovo, but the majority of regular church visitors taking a 10-15 minutes walk from Kstovo

Обычная сельская церковь, но хорошо доступная на любом транспорте.
Машины можно оставить на паркинге у соседнего торгового центра и пройтись 200 метров пешком.

Так как этот торговый центр был вторым в городе пришлось делать что-то особенное. Кинотеатр. Следующий ТЦ сдали с аквапарком. Удобная парковка.

Its main purpose to expose some fossils (like parts of mammoth skeleton), traditional 19th century russian wear, old samovars, irons, tools for making fabric at home, etc.
So this is _the_ destination for regional history field trip.
Also there are special expositions. My favorite is soviet Christmas tree decoration which is take place every year in December-January. And there are tons of soviet post cards and stuff like this.

Парк заложен к 40 Победы в 1985 году.
К сердине 2010х деревья выросли и была проведена долгожданная реновация.
Проложено около километра новых дорожек из брущатки, сделано 3 больших детских площадки.
Есть выход на высокий берег волги, с которого открываются отличные вида как на Заволжье, так и на нагорную часть Нижнего Новгорода.
Есть спуск к реке.
Из-за близости к воде в деревьях и кустах гнездуется масса мелких птиц, которые своим пением могут сопровождать вашу прогулку.

Я бы сказал, что она совсем не похожа на церковь в моем представлении. Для меня ничего интересного в этом месте мет.

Don't miss Pinnochio and Ungly duckling there!
It's a musical (guys there very nice singers), Japanese shadow show, interaction with kids, physical interaction.
There is a lot of drama. There even are drama plays for adult public.
But most of the plays are for kids.
There are 2 plays each Sunday at 11am and 1pm.
So if you miss the first play there is another chance to see it.
