Freedom Beach

Reviewed By LoveNatureTraveller

Fantastic warm, clean water, one small cafe on beach, take tuk tuk instead long boat ( tuk tuk from Karon Beach to Freedom costs 400 baht, and long boat from Patong charge 1000 baht, although trip is very short. If you arrive by car/tuk tuk/motorbike, you have to walk down/up the stairs - some good, some broken, but manageable - average fitness required, down takes 20 minutes to walk, up - 25-30 mins to walk. Clean beach. Jewel in the midst of civilization. Definitely recommended!!!

KC Slip-Fly

KC Kathu Connection Sport Club Bar & Restaurant is a new Pool club roughly halfway between Phuket Town and Patong. The main attraction is the ‘Slip N Fly’ double slider. This is not your usual water slide, the one where you gently slide all the way down and gently glide into the pool. Slip N Fly looks a lot more like a catapult: glide down a 30 meter long water slide and the curve at the bottom will throw you up to 6 to 10 meters in the air! It’s really impressive and rather scary! We provide a secure environment and parents can enjoy their time in the self, fun and amazing zone to take their families and enjoy the sliders. With a restaurant, a large swim up bar, a good mix of music and sound system, KC Kathu Connection is also a great place to party with friends. You can sit anywhere around on of the pools in a VIP sofas and enjoy drinks and music by the pool.

Phuket FantaSea

This cultural theme park is divided into three sections: shopping in the Festival village, dining in the Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant and Vegas-style entertainment in the Palace of the Elephants.

What an amazing show. Dinner beforehand - we have never seen such a wide variety of enjoyable food. Huge complex. Even tried a Hong Thong (Thai whiskey). Almost like photos I have seen of disneyland. During the show, there was actually 15 elephants on stage at one time. Hens & goats running across the stage. The trapeze artists were brilliant directly above our heads - we did book the gold seats for better viewing.

Great experience with the big cats today; Treated very well by all staff, and more than happy to help us with any questions and/or photo's - Encouraged us to spend time with every tiger in each enclosure, and went out of their way to show everything about the tigers. Would not have missed it for the world.
